The absolute lack of standards at this club is sickening. We have Champions League football secured, but instead of signing premium, top tier talent, the board drops £35m on a mid table midfielder who isn't even a guaranteed starter for Aston Villa. First, we overpay £50m for Andrey Santos, and the moment Ederson's deal falls through, we panic buy Tielemans like a desperate West Ham or Newcastle. This board operates with a small club mentality. We are going to get completely humiliated in Europe with this utterly mid midfield.
