Our wild temp rollercoaster ride is going to continue through the end of #March2026. A zonal/progressive weather pattern will support frequent cold frontal passages and huge swings in temps. Brief but significant warmups will be replaced by sharp cold shots every few days. Phew!

@MUweather I appreciate winter for certain things, I LOVE sunsets over snow covered hills in the winter but that’s preferably when it’s not sub zero wind chills! I try and appreciate things about every season! Long days in summer are awesome, leaves in fall! Flowers in spring

@MUweather My heat bill this year was maybe the highest I’ve ever personally paid since not living with my parents like 10 years ago. The only year that came close was 18-19.

@Trevorb9612 This "pneumonia weather" certainly isn't fun. I'll take my 70s on Sunday and run for awhile.

Astronomical #spring just began at 7:46 a.m. EDT! It will certainly feel like the season today with highs in the mid 60s to perhaps 70°F despite increasing clouds, & the warmer weather will last through the weekend before another blast of much cooler air arrives early next week.

Southerly winds of 8-16 mph on the backside of a high pressure system over the western Atlantic will usher more seasonable air into northern MD, southeastern PA and the Lower Susquehanna Valley today. Despite mostly cloudy skies, high temps should reach the upper 40s to low 50s.
