Chopped it up w/a super successful banker/investor yesterday. “Every uber-rich person I do deals w/has overcame incredible obstacles in their youth” Made me think of the maxim… “Tough times create tough people.” Then I look at the current state of grassroots bball. 😳🤷🏾‍♂️

Every team needs a player like this. I have NEVER once questioned her effort or attitude.

There is a young lady in our program, @makennabowman28, who is a perfect example of what coaches say they want in a player. Selfless, great teammate, gym rat, great in the classroom & willing to do whatever is necessary to win. 1 of my favorites to ever come through the program
