I can’t believe I stopped using Claude Code max and entirely use DeepSeek and Hermes. It’s so fast, so so fast, 3x faster for the same task. So cheap. I spent $5 last week and never need worry about being rate limited or usage hit limits very two hours. For most tasks it’s perfect enough.

אחד הדברים המטורפים בחזירי בר הוא מנגנון ההשרדות שלהם. מנגנון שלא קיים אצל אף יונק ניצוד בטבע ונקרא ״האפקט הדמוגרפי״. ״האפקט הדמוגרפי״ מתחיל לפעול ברגע שמחסלים נקבות דומיננטיות או זכרים דומיננטיים ובעצם מביאים לשבירת המבנה החברתי של העדר. חיסול בגזרת הנקבות- הנקבות הדומיננטיות מדכאות את הייחום של הנקבות הצעירות יותר בקבוצה והסרה שלהן בעצם גורמת לייחום אצל כל הנקבות- אבל לא רק! הן אפילו יתייחמו עכשיו, בהעדר נקבות דומיננטיות, הרבה יותר מוקדם- לפעמים אפילו בגיל חצי שנה! מהצד השני- הסרת הזכרים הדומיננטיים עושה אותו דבר- היא מכניסה זכרים ״לא בשלים״ למעגל הרבייה מוקדם מהצפוי ואז המפץ הגדול- הרבה לא דומיננטיים שדוכאו עד כה, נפגשים עם לא דומיננטיות שדוכאו גם כן- ומתקבלת חגיגת רבייה על סטרואידים. אבל זה עוד מילא- מה שיותר מטורף היא העובדה שכמות הוולדות אצל כל נקבה לא דומיננטית עולה באופן דרסטי עד הכפלה ולעיתים רחוקות גם פי 3 ואפילו 4! והן ימשיכו להיות ״מכונות רבייה״ עד שמשתקם מחדש המבנה החברתי- מה שלוקח שנים. המשמעות היא שהחיסולים פשוט שוברים את המבנה החברתי שוב ושוב ולכן רואים הפוגות בכמות אבל בהמשך בייבי בום והצפה. לכן גם אם רוצים לחסל- יש דרך נכונה לעשות את זה- אחרת מקבלים רק מכונות רבייה…

Most of y’all will be mad at me, but I’m gonna say it anyways:
We’re a strong, resilient people. But we are also a reactive & deeply insecure nation.
Our responses to the Ukrainian grain incident, and plenty since October 7, haven’t been grounded in clear judgment, but as emotional reactions.
“Ukraine votes against us at the UN”
“Ukraine has a dark history with Jews”
“Ukraine has neo-Nazi problems”
That might be true. But none of it is relevant to why we purchased the stolen grains from Russian hands & what should we do next. These aren’t logical, calculated responses. They are emotional outbursts.
Too often we react like we’ve been stepped on - sharp, loud, defensive. Sometimes we’re right, sometimes not.
But it ain’t matter. Because these are signs of insecurity.
And sure, it’s understandable. After October 7, with the feeling the world’s abandoned or even targeting us, people get aggressively defensive.
But we can’t build a future on victim mentality & resentment. They never lead men no where. It only pushes away friends, and plays right into the hands of people who want to see us isolated.
The Jewish People’s existence is far more than a reaction to the world. We are a proud, confident People, living in our independent country.
Act like it, not with emotion, but with clarity, with wisdom, and with steady hands.

I think Israel could have handled the Ukraine situation better. If it is true that Israel is buying grain from Russia’s occupied areas of Ukraine, Israel should have simply responded: thank you for flagging this, we are looking into it and it will be addressed. Even if Ukraine raised it through Twitter and not in the best way, and even if Ukraine does not publicly call out other countries like Egypt for buying sanctioned Russian grain, Israel could have been the grown up in the room and said: no worries, we got it, we are on it.

In any normal country, purchasing stolen goods is an act that entails legal liability. This applies, in particular, to grain stolen by Russia. Another vessel carrying such grain has arrived at a port in Israel and is preparing to unload. This is not – and cannot be – legitimate business. The Israeli authorities cannot be unaware of which ships are arriving at the country’s ports and what cargo they are carrying.
Russia is systematically seizing grain on temporarily occupied Ukrainian land and organizing its export through individuals linked to the occupiers. Such schemes violate the laws of the State of Israel itself. Ukraine has taken all necessary steps through diplomatic channels to prevent such incidents. However, we see that yet another such vessel has not been stopped. I have instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to inform all partners of our state about the situation.
Based on information from our intelligence services, Ukraine is preparing a relevant sanctions package that will cover both those directly transporting this grain and the individuals and legal entities attempting to profit from this criminal scheme. We will also coordinate with European partners to ensure that the relevant individuals are included in European sanctions regimes.
Ukraine counts on partnership and mutual respect with every state. We are genuinely working to enhance security, particularly in the Middle East region. We expect that the Israeli authorities will respect Ukraine and refrain from actions that undermine our bilateral relations.
