Falls risk assessments, care plans and bedrail risk assessments are important for keeping people safe whilst in hospital or at home. Remember in hospital these risk assessments are completed on admission, transfer, weekly, post fall or change in condition.

Today marks the beginning of Falls Prevention Week 2024. Todays focus is medications, some medications may cause an increase risk to a person falling and should be taken into consideration #thinkfalls
