What India is trying to do here: - Do "something more" to make up for the embarrassment of losing multiple aircraft including Rafale the other night. Restore some of that domestic confidence. - Saturate Pakistani airspace with small drones and test Pakistani AD capabilities. That's important data for the future. Additionally, collect as much intel as possible during these incursions. - Open a new PsyWar front (the psychological impact of having drones deep inside Pakistan) One thing that this is bound to achieve is that any remote chance of foreign pressure on Pakistan to not to retaliate/retaliate moderately working is gone. That's the way I see it at least.
