@wanted4mogging You are the problem for thinking of anyone as having a less serious job. You think you’re too good for the TSA? Too cool to deal with the bullshit like everyone else? Fuck you

what i hate the most about airports is the way airport staff are exalted there as supreme omnipotent cattle herders with immutable authority when they're just some stupid fucking low skill useless wagie. oh really my bag weighed 0.2 pounds more than the limit? is that really worth your salary to bitch at me for? i would almost consider airport staff as runners up against public school teachers for people who deserve to have their salaries cut in half
Jamie Sarkonak@sarkonakj

I can't stand that airport corruption is so bad that we're getting PSAs like "make sure to record your bag being weighed." The third-worldification continues. I hope more robots take airport jobs because they'd be more trustworthy than the current wave of hires, apparently.

Update: Dalton Eatherly, aka @ChudTheBuilder, was arrested last night. Here are the charges currently with Metro Nashville-Davidson County sheriff’s office. What’s interesting about this is since he was already out on another bond from a previous incident, which is still on going in court, this arrest will most likely lead to a revocation of his previous bond, which would keep him in jail until his previous case concludes. Karma is real. I tried to tell him. Let’s hope inmates in Davidson County don’t know who he is…but at this point, I highly doubt it. Might be some rough times in the jail cell.

Our tax dollars should be spent on subduing Chudthebuilder with grizzly tranquilizers and relocating him to the countryside. He’s rertarded but the white race simply cannot afford to lose this kind of breeding stock

1 year ago today, Dave Portnoy forced me to go to Auschwitz and apologize to the jews I refused — and Dave tried to ruin my life I was expelled from university, my post-grad job offer was revoked, I lost my “best friends”, was removed from my fraternity, received death threats, had my house broken into, and even got banned on Cash-app and PayPal These are the scare tactics jews will use to frighten you into submission Never bend the knee, never apologize, and always double down 1 year later, I don’t regret a thing.

I can confirm, at least until I left Bloomberg in ‘95, Mike was always the first one in. I was usually second, living two blocks from 499 Park. I honestly had no idea what time he got in, he was just always there in the kitchen getting coffee when I walked in, usually around 7am. And this is precisely why WFH is a disaster. I learned more being around co-workers, observing what to do, and what not to do, than I ever did from a book or staring at a computer screen.

Michael Bloomberg, founder of Bloomberg LP, on why showing up early and staying late beats being the smartest person in the room: "I'm not smarter than anybody else, but I can outwork you." Bloomberg shares his key to success: "Make sure you're the first one in there every day and the last one to leave. Don't ever take a lunch break or go to the bathroom. You keep working. You never know when that opportunity is going to come along." He explains how this approach shaped his early career at Salomon Brothers. The managing partner of the company, Bill Salomon, was the second person to arrive each morning. @MikeBloomberg was the only other one in the big trading room. "If he had needed to borrow a match… if he wanted to ask something about a newspaper or a stock, he came over and so we became buddies." The same thing happened at the end of the day. The number two guy, John Gutfreund, was the last one to leave except for Bloomberg. They'd share a cab or take the subway uptown together. "You can't control that you're the smartest guy. There'll always be somebody smarter. But if you're there, then you absorb things. You put things together in ways that if you didn't have all that experience…" He compares it to skiing: "Reading a book on skiing doesn't teach you how to ski. You got to go and you got to ski and get lots of miles under your skis. And incidentally, if you don't fall, you're not skiing hard enough and you're not learning anything." Bloomberg also touches on resilience when things don't go your way: "You got to be smart enough to say, 'Hey, I tried it. Don't let your ego get in the way. I can't keep doing this. I've got to earn a living, but a year from now, I'm going to come up with a better idea and then I'll go back and do it again.'" He closes with a mindset that defined his career: "There's never been a day that I haven't looked forward to going into work. Even the days I knew I was going to get beaten up. Even the day I knew I was going to get fired. I'd never been fired before. I wonder what it's like. Okay, let's go find out."

People ask me what’s the difference between McD and Burger King. I’ll give you an example: When we rolled out frappes, we bought a $15k self-contained machine that made each frappe/smoothie and self-cleaned after each use. It’s an impressive machine. A month later, I walked into a BK that had rolled out their frappe. They had a $25 residential blender on the counter and then proceeded to eye-measure a mixture out of a carton, a scoop of ice, and pressed blend. That’s the difference between McD and BK. No need to explain further.
McFranchisee@McFranchisee

The best thing about this new beverage trend, @McDonalds already had the necessary & essential components for this type of launch. McD has the world’s best drinks already, with under $10k in smallwares and a handful of new beverage SKU’s - we are adding a new line of business in the hottest trend in our current footprint.

Dear New Yorkers who have never seen dumpsters. Let me explain what this will do. 1. They will stink. They will get all kinds of gross liquid in them and they will stink. 24/7. Wait for the summer. That’s gonna be so charming. 2. Trash will pile up over and around them. Bc it ALWAYS does. 3. Parking way up. $$$$. I know you don’t think you care but it will cost someone more money which will be passed onto you. 4. These could easily bc homeless shelters. The trash will then be tossed on the streets. 5. Rats will find a way. It will smell like food to them at all times. It will attract them. 6. It’s going to cost a bunch of money. 7. It will be UGLY. They will be covered with all kinds of gross garbage materials. Hence the stinking mentioned earlier. The beautiful streets will be packed with these. Imagine a 100 story building. How big of a dumpster do they need? 8. Will they be moved every other day like cars? How will the street sweepers get around them? 9. And other stuff I haven’t even thought of yet.

The solution is so simple. Make cops learn how to wrestle. Must show proficiency in the blast double and half Nelson to graduate the academy. A basically trained wrestler will fuck up anyone on the street

@Majick666 D1 football and all my extra training didn’t come until high school. At 7yo I was playing with my friends, not in a gym by myself doing plyo work

If you put your kid in this “training” at 7yo it is nothing more than a fancy daycare At 7-14yo your kid doesn’t need training or to specialize in a sport. They need to be a kid. Play multiple sports. Play pickup sports with their friends outside. Not every waking moment needs to be scheduled for kids. If you disagree with me then go listen to all the pro athletes who say the same thing
Joey Bergles@JoeyBergles

I train kids from every sport imaginable. They all train as “athletes” If a 7-14 year old gets more athletic - they’ll get better at their sport.
