WHO IS FOOLING WHO: Dear Dr. Tengani Ntuli, the complainant in the extortion case against taxi boss, Joe “Ferrari” Sibanyoni and three others, can you “unequivocally deny” that you sent the following message to the police? Can you also “unequivocally deny” that you just informed police that your brother in law begged you to deny the phone allegations as he was going to lose his job as a member of parliament and also be charged for interfering with a police investigation? @pule_jones @HeidiGiokos @Abramjee @MatshobaThami2 @MightiJamie @Chriseldalewis @Sophie_Mokoena @AdvoBarryRoux @mmodiba10

What Sundowns achieved again is bigger than a title. Staying at the top for a decade is difficult in football. The second star is not built easy. To overcome these difficult away games across the continent, uncomfortable moments, really needs smart leadership and players who understand responsibility. Great clubs create something deeper than just tactics. They create culture. This second star is won with a mentality to keep pushing. That is the hardest thing in these game, staying at the top when everybody is chasing you. Congratulations to Mamelodi Sundowns. Great Achievement. @Masandawana

Frantic calls following the arrest of a son of a senior politician and member of cabinet: Duma says, "Please don’t Call Us" when you get arrested for reckless driving: Statement by the MEC for Transport and Human Settlements Siboniso Duma: We have received a report from our highly efficient and no-nonsense RTI Team about an influx of frantic calls from senior government officials, sympathizers, friends, and community leaders. They were pleading with RTI not to arrest a son of a senior politician despite clocking 222 km/h in a 120 km/h zone. He was nabbed during the execution of the #NenzaniLaEzweni operation. We have in the past pointed out that we should not be telephoned and be asked to intervene if any motorist is arrested by RTI for violating the National Road Traffic Act. With this arrest in particular, the Mercedes-Benz was intercepted as it was speeding. The relation of the driver and a senior politician was only revealed by the callers who clearly wanted the No Nonsense RTI Team to be unethical. Fortunately, integrity and ethical conduct are becoming a permanent feature in the department. Importantly, on Monday, we will release details about the conviction and sentencing of five motorists, including a policeman. They were arrested by RTI Park Rynie for speeding along the N2. Once again, we thank the Scottburgh magistrates for professionalism and the whole Department of Justice and Constitutional Development for managing our cases effectively. We stated in the past that motorists in KZN should not be misled by the judgement in the Western Cape High Court: Hymie Zilwa (Plaintiff) and the Member of the Executive Council for the Department of Transport and Public Works (First Defendant) and the Minister of Police (Second Defendant) delivered on the 9th of January, 2026. It was held that speeding is not a Schedule 1 offence, and the arrest was deemed to be unlawful. This judgement does not bind KwaZulu-Natal authorities. Our highly efficient and dedicated RTI team is guided by Section 40(1)(a) of the Criminal Procedure Act, 1977 (Act 51 of 1977), to continue to arrest and remove from our road networks reckless and irresponsible drivers, as they are a major risk to other innocent road users. @KZNTransport

I hereby stand by my X post that the complainant, Dr. Tengani Ntuli, in the extortion case against taxi boss, Joe “Ferrari” Sibanyoni and three others told the police that a well known Member of Parliament phoned him on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at 18:25 as NPA is planning to reinstate it and asked him to withdraw the case so they can “resolve the matter outside the court” because one of the accused is “old and is on the risk to lose everything.” I can categorically state that Ntuli also informed police that the MP told him that one of the accused indicated to him that he is aware that Ntuli’s house in Middleburg “is currently without curtains and people have told him that I have run away.” “The question is, who was at our house, who saw that there is no more curtains at our house?” Ntuli posed the question in his message to the police. Ntuli also told the police that he informed the MP that he will never change his mind or statement about the case. This matter, Ntuli and MP’s phone call was also discussed during a close session meeting between officials from NPA and police on Thursday in Mpumalanga. If I am lying about the matter, I am asking Dr. Ntuli to go to the nearest police station and open a case against me.
