My father’s life was saved by Cuban doctors. He met with a terrible accident. We were in Abbottabad, and the surgery he needed, which carried a high likelihood of him being on a ventilator afterwards, was not possible there. The earthquake had just happened, so hospitals in the city were overwhelmed. It was almost impossible to transport him because there was a real chance he could die on the way.
The Cuban mission doctors were in Pakistan to help with the earthquake affectees. The Cuban mission doctors had the medical equipment that made his transport to another city possible. He lived for another year or so. I got to celebrate his 40th birthday with him, and for that I cannot be thankful enough to the generosity of Cuba and the Cuban people.

Jinnah was born into a Khoja Shia Ismaili family but converted to being a Twelver Shia sometime around 1910:

- He had an Alam in his funeral [proof attached].
- He attended majalis with Liaquat Ali Khan & other Shias [proof attached].
- He had a Shia nikkah with his Shia best friend Raja of Mahmudabad as the witness.
- He buried his second wife in a Shia graveyard of Bombay [proof attached].
- Fatima Jinnah claimed inheritance as per Shia Shariah laws because as per the Sunni laws, a sister has no share in her brother's inheritance.
- Fatima Jinnah kept an Alam at her Mohatta Palace residence.
- Fatima Jinnah had a "private funeral in accordance with Shia rites," as per the diary of the-then President Field Marshal Ayub Khan.
I'm not surprised a notorious Yazid-apologist like Adnan would distort, revise, and rewrite the great man's personal beliefs just to feel better about his miserable existence. And regarding Jinnah's official funeral, yes, it was led by a highly-respected Sunni scholar - but so are funerals for thousands of Shias, especially in official capacities. It doesn't prove a thing in relation to the list of facts I've compiled above.

I do understand your point but the global market is one thing, and a Rs. 200/litre levy a domestic police failure. It’s hard to justify when Russia just confirmed they’re ready to supply discounted oil, but our govt hasn't even made a formal request. We’re paying for a lack of planning; with only 27 days of reserves, we have no buffer against price shocks. The 'common man' shouldn't be the only one bearing the burden while official fuel quotas and elite protocols remain intact. Sincerity should start with the govt sharing the sacrifice. I am not saying to not do it, price hikes are inevitable atm considering the chaos around the world but do it with a better planning I believe.
