𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐬 𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐣𝐨𝐛. Many students get stuck because the thesis starts to feel like one giant document. It helps to break it down. Each section is asking you to do something specific: → Introduction ↳ Tell us the problem, why it matters, and what your study is trying to answer → Literature review ↳ Show what is already known, what is debated, and where your study fits → Methodology ↳ Explain how you answered the question → Results and analysis ↳ Present what you found without trying to discuss everything at once → Discussion ↳ Interpret the findings and connect them back to the field → Conclusion ↳ Close the argument and show what your work adds → References ↳ Show the evidence trail behind your work → Appendices ↳ Keep supporting material without overcrowding the main thesis The mistake many students make is mixing the jobs. They discuss results in the results section. They introduce new literature in the conclusion. They write methods like a story. They write the discussion like a second literature review. That is when the thesis becomes confusing. A good thesis has structure. A strong thesis has discipline. Before you write, ask: “What is this chapter supposed to do?” That one question can save you weeks of scattered writing.

I do like the idea of the SPLM Institute for Strategic Studies. I hope it lives up to its name. Intellectuality should be embraced, not shunned and treated like an allergen. And happy Sunday, fellow Junubin!

The consistent ignorance being displayed by KMJ is wanting. The other day, Majak also accused young people of being the most corrupt. Did he ask who enabled such an environment for rampant corruption if at all young people are doing it? People wonder why I only revered the dead.

The viral takeaway is too simplistic. I read the entire paper, so you don't have to…. Here is what the paper actually studied. This was a meta-analysis, which means the authors did not run any new experiments. They systematically combined results from many previous studies to estimate the overall pattern. That usually places a study high in the evidence hierarchy, but not above criticism. A meta-analysis is only as strong as the studies it includes. In this case, the authors pooled 115 human studies and 56 animal studies. In men, they did not directly study “how often men should ejaculate” in a simple behavioral sense. They studied sperm storage duration, using abstinence time as a proxy. —- My take: This is a good paper. But the public interpretation is running ahead of the evidence. A fair summary is this: longer sperm storage appears linked to a small decline in some sperm quality markers in men, especially DNA damage and oxidative stress. That is not the same as proving that more frequent ejaculation is always better, nor does it establish one ideal frequency for all men. Good science deserves careful reading. Health advice should not be built from headlines alone.

'Male masturbation may have an adaptive benefit: it flushes out damaged, stored sperm.' New Oxford research suggests that the longer sperm are stored before ejaculation, the lower their quality, with implications for men trying to conceive and IVF treatment. Find out more ⬇️
