A wedding that was supposed to happen today has just been cancelled and the story is wild. The bride is a very young girl, she might not even be up to 22. From the beginning, the groom has been spending heavily on her, even though he already has a wife living in Kano. Anytime she says she wants to go to a shawarma spot with her friends, he sends her N200K just for the shawarma. Yes, N200K. Just for shawarma outings. Everything was going smoothly until last week when the issue of the wedding event budget came up. The bride insisted that N5 million is what she wants for the event. But the groom said things should be adjusted, that he can only afford N3 million. Despite that, he still went ahead and sent N1.7 million, promising to complete the remaining N1.3 million before the event date. Instead of accepting it, the bride got angry and refunded the N1.7 million back to him. That was when everything scattered. The bride’s mother stepped in and insisted that there will be no wedding.
