Shane Jones BLASTS Labour for dodging accountability and calls out Green's fairytales

I see @chrishipkins is STILL peddling the same misinformation that he, and all the other 'experts', were peddling back in 2021: "So there was still a four times greater risk for people to get myocarditis from getting Covid than from being vaccinated." That's what they were all saying back in 2021, to scare people into getting the vax, but this video, which was made back in 2022, shows exactly why it was misinformation. I know most of you will have probably seen this one before, but for anyone who hasn't... @nzlabour @nzfirst @winstonpeters @ChrisPenknz

If @chrishipkins lied about something as important as this, what else has he lied about??? nzherald.co.nz/nz/politics/ch…

This 1News story contained awful misinformation. You can’t blame Maori health outcomes on the health system being “racist against Maori” or on the impacts of “colonisation” - it’s genetic and cultural. I thought we had gotten past this woke garbage.

They Called Us Crazy. Kids Got Hurt. This is honestly one of the WORST things we have ever been proven right about. Because this was never just politics for us. It was about kids. And we screamed our concerns from the rooftops! We were watching what was unfolding in Israel in early 2021. VFF's Facebook page was permanently nuked for sharing this legitimate information published in mainstream media overseas. We were speaking directly to Kiwi families whose healthy teenagers suddenly had chest pain, heart inflammation, exhaustion, and repeated hospital admissions. I will never forget one particular call. A mum and her two teenage sons. All three of them experienced cardiac harm after their injections. Three people in one family. Hospitalised, terrified, and living with huge uncertainty. And what were many of these young people told? “It’s anxiety.” Just stop for a second and think about how disgusting that is. Kids who previously played sport, ran up hills, lived normal lives… suddenly struggling to function physically… and being told it was in their head. That level of gaslighting is a national shame. Kids do not normally have heart problems. They do not normally collapse with chest pain. They do not normally face lifelong cardiac uncertainty before they have even finished school. They do not normally go to sleep and never wake up. But this is the reality some families are now living with. And now, years later, we have mainstream commentators finally acknowledging that officials themselves were worried about myocarditis risk in teenagers and still pressed ahead with decisions affecting them. Five years too late. Five freaking years. What makes me FURIOUS beyond words is that there is still almost zero serious investigation into the full scale of what happened. We KNOW from emerging research that teenagers can carry cardiac injury subclinically. Meaning damage may sit there quietly… until one day it doesn’t. Is anyone actively looking for these kids? Or are we still relying on pathetic passive pharmacovigilance systems that miss huge numbers of cases? Because from where I sit, it looks like the latter. And while this myocarditis issue is finally being acknowledged, there are other massive questions the media happily ignored when we were raising them. Here are two places they could start if they are suddenly feeling brave. First. Helen Petousis-Harris and others repeatedly told the public that the spike protein produced by the vaccine was cleared from the body within hours. That reassurance was used to shut down legitimate concern. We now know spike protein has been detected hundreds of days after injection. In some studies, around 700 days. Seven. Hundred. Days. That's a LOT of hours, Helen. When we warned that these injections could effectively turn the body into a spike protein factory, we were mocked and censored by the media. The issues we raised made it to the podium many times. They KNEW exactly what we were saying because we were being closely monitored. So forgive me for not believing for one second that Hipkins, Ardern, Bloomfield and co did not know. They did. Now the obvious question is: What are the long-term consequences of that persistence? What do our health statistics show? Is anyone even seriously looking? Second. DNA contamination. This is not some fringe rumour or 'conspiracy'. Medsafe itself raised genotoxicity concerns in February 2021 when it issued 58 conditions relating to the provisional approval of the Pfizer vaccine. To this day, the public has not been allowed to see the answers to many of those conditions because of so-called commercial sensitivity. Arse-covering. Let that sink in. We injected an entire population at unprecedented speed… and key safety information is still effectively hidden. Because Pfizer's bottom line is more important than Kiwis' health. And through all of this, the media by and large did not investigate. They cheered. They ran PR campaigns. They promoted KFC vouchers. They spun Wheels of Fortune. They literally normalised paying Kiwis up to $1000 to take an experimental medical product. And now we are dealing with the consequences. A loss of public trust. Families living with uncertainty and inescapable worry. A generation of young people who may carry hidden health risks into adulthood. So yes. An apology is overdue. But not just a soft, polite acknowledgement that the “conspiracy theorists” had a point. What’s overdue is a proper reckoning with the culture that took hold during those years. A culture where questioning was punished, reputations were trashed, and enormous pressure was applied to get children to take an experimental injection with KNOWN risks. A good, hard look in the mirror. If the slow drip of truth now waking people up helps ensure this is never repeated… then I am here for it. I will happily reach for MY pompoms and neon lights to make sure this story is not shoved back under the ever-lumpier rug. Because the health of our kids should never have been collateral damage in a political messaging campaign. Not then. Not now. Not ever.

Aug, 2021 Maori Doctors & experts spent 5 weekends at a Mangere Marae for a course on covid/vaccine messaging to teens. At the start, 3 of 50 kids wanted vaccine By the end 25 & a dozen maybes Writing pro-vaccine songs to perform Watch reporter use & mock teen to frame narrative

This is the strongly worded advice from the New Zealand government’s group of vaccine experts in relation to the under 18s. It wasn’t implemented.

SECOND ROYAL INQUIRY SEEKS TO CODIFY COVID RESPONSES FOR 'FUTURE PANDEMICS' In its final report The Phase Two Royal Commission of Inquiry into the Covid response makes 24 recommendations framed around the apparent certainty of future pandemics. In doing so, it validates the pandemic response, treats sweeping emergency powers as a design problem and normalises lockdowns and mandates. While it acknowledges serious social harms and a loss of trust in authority, it does not allow them to inform or shape its conclusions. The Phase Two Royal Commission of Inquiry into the Covid 19 response broadly endorses the previous government’s response and says decisions made were balanced and reasonable. Instead of condemning the response as undemocratic overreach, it is focused on preparing New Zealand for ‘the next pandemic’ and codifying the same policies for future use - only with tighter safeguards. The draconian Covid-19 Health Response Act of 2020 - is hailed by the Commission as an improvement on the previous legislative framework, while stating that certain aspects could be improved for future pandemic scenarios. The four lessons it lays out for future ‘pandemic resilience’ are building systems that promote good decision-making, legislation as the guardrail for fundamental rights and freedoms, agile and robust economic policy and readiness for social impacts and recovery, which involves new agencies to monitor and study these. Co-founder of VFF and RCR Claire Deeks questioned whether the Inquiry had fulfilled key mandatory requirements set out in its terms of reference. “The Commission had clear powers under the Inquiries Act to compel former ministers to appear. It chose not to exercise those powers. When an inquiry declines to use the very tools designed to establish accountability, it raises serious questions about how thoroughly the decisions under review were actually examined.” PRIMARY LEGISLATION NEEDED FOR 'NEXT PANDEMIC' “Before the next pandemic, primary legislation should be in place that sets out the most significant legal powers the government can use in a pandemic response. For example, this could cover issues such as lockdowns, border closures, quarantine arrangements, and vaccine requirements,” the report states. To do this, the report recommends that primary legislation be developed using the normal process, but should emphasise and affirm human rights, and especially those affirmed in the New Zealand Bill of Rights Act 1990. MANDATES AND LOCKDOWNS REMAIN IN THE PANDEMIC TOOLBOX Importantly, the Commission does not explicitly condemn or rule out vaccine mandates in future - one of the most controversial policies enacted under the former Labour government’s covid response. Rather, it explicitly states that any primary legislation should specify exactly what limitations to Kiwis’ rights can be applied in the event of a pandemic response. The report states that “some vaccination requirements were introduced too slowly, some lasted too long and some went too far,” and goes on to recommend that “[new] pandemic legislation should set out the most significant powers available to government in a pandemic response, including restrictions on movement and vaccine requirements, ensuring restrictions on human rights are grounded in primary legislation.” RCR head of legal Katie Ashby-Koppens said the report appeared “lazy”, noting that constitutional safeguards already existed but the Commission failed to examine how those protections were set aside. “Instead, it largely accepts the Government’s account at face value without deeper investigation. For decisions that affected every aspect of people’s lives, that is deeply disappointing. The report reads as procedural rather than substantive, effectively entrenching the very narrative that required rigorous scrutiny.” The Commission did find some fault with the mandates, primarily that the Government failed to monitor the impact of mandates, including uptake of the Vaccination Assessment tool, job losses and reinstatements, which resulted in advice that was not well informed when it came to making decisions about continuing or ending the mandates. In a future pandemic scenario, the Commission thinks mandates should be used only when necessary, with clear reasoning laid out. They should also be subject to ongoing review and an exit plan. Crucially, the Commission does not condemn mandates as socially corrosive and an egregious assault on bodily autonomy and informed consent, but rather recommends the government have the ability to use them in future if necessary. Auckland University microbiologist and ‘science communicator’ Siouxie Wiles, a high-profile cheerleader for the Covid response said it was important to note that the Inquiry found that vaccine mandates were a valid health intervention, “though they should be used with great care." Notably, the report contains little or no examination of mask mandates, despite them being one of the most visible and widely used public health measures. GREATER PROTECTION FOR RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS To protect against overreach, the Commission describes “legal guardrails for fundamental rights and freedoms”. The report recommends that legislation should clearly outline who can exercise powers, under what conditions, and with what safeguards, including provisions for exemptions, ongoing monitoring, and public disclosure. MIS AND DISINFORMATION BLAMED IN PART FOR BROKEN TRUST IN AUTHORITY Rather than critique the way that information was weaponised during Covid, including the use of terms like mis and disinformation, conspiracy theory and more, to silent dissenting voices, the Commission affirms that these things played a role in declining trust and the breakdown in social cohesion, which the Commission states “undoubtedly” contributed, particularly in relation to vaccinations and lockdowns. COMMISSION ACKNOWLEDGES TRUST HAS TANKED What is on the record now is acknowledgment of the declining trust in authority and social cohesion. In an accompanying document called Pandemic Perspectives the stories of many kiwis relating to the negative impact of covid policy are fully described and are now “on the record”. While the Commission says that about 85% of submissions contained negative sentiments about the Covid response, the Pandemic Perspective document gives equal weighting to the stories of those who had positive experiences. The report acknowledged that the large amount of submissions (some 30,000) was largely due to a campaign by Voices for Freedom (VFF) encouraging people to share their stories, and frames VFF as ‘narrative challengers’, yet did not refer once to the document The People’s Position which was written and shared with the Commission to assist them in their work. Perplexingly, while the report provides real acknowledgement to those who suffered badly from the effects of policy and social division, none of this is reflected in its findings or recommendations: they do not inform the report. Co-founder of VFF and RCR Alia Bland said that many people would read the report and ask why the hardest questions have once again been sidestepped. “Decisions that affected livelihoods, freedoms and the social fabric of the country deserved far more rigorous scrutiny than this. What matters now is that the public conversation does not stop here. The pandemic response reshaped fundamental rights, divided communities and badly damaged trust in government and public institutions. Rebuilding that trust will require far greater honesty than we have seen so far. You don’t rebuild trust by avoiding the questions that broke it in the first place.” Keep up with the news minus the mainstream spin with RCR Bites: biteme.news

New Zealand Medical Council is essentially a bunch of amoral lawyers acting as a gatekeeper for big pharma. If we keep tolerating what they do to us, they’ll keep doing it.
