Breaking Bad was a powerful lesson to young men, as we are all constantly on the journey to becomming old men.
The drug dealing? The wife cheating? The treachery and the danger? No, none of that.
Just the first part of the first episode.
One day if you're lucky enough, somebody is going to give you the news that you are soon going to die.
What have you left behind?
Broke in a dead end job with a wife who won't sleep with you and your financial and family affairs in tatters?
No, not me.
You could get that news in 10 years, or you could get it tomorrow.
Build.

This family has done what so many people want to do but are afraid to do or don’t have the means possible to do so.
They sold their 5,600 sq ft.
home in a bougie HOA neighborhood for an abandoned farm on a 160 undeveloped acres.
They moved into their 300 square foot RV, spent months clearing land, built a big deck for their RV, where they spend a lot of time, and they hired the Amish to help
build their farmhouse.
They used a generator for power and trucked in 55 gallon barrels of water.
The dream so many people have. It is attainable. Kudos to them for breaking away. 👏
Do you think you could ever do what they have done? Could you leave the crowded suburban city life sprawl behind and start a new life away from all the hustle and bustle in the country?

@The_Chidimma This is what being a present parent does to the kids
And it’s so healthy
They’d grow up love, cultured and sound to go through the phases of life beautifully

Some extremely profound words of wisdom from Alan Watts.
"One day you'll realize you've already lived through some of the best days of your life and you didn't even know it at the time."
"You were too busy chasing what's next, busy worrying about what's missing. Thinking happiness was something you'd arrive at one day."
"But while you were waiting you were laughing with people who won't always be around. You were making memories in places you'll one day drive past and feel something you can't explain. You were standing in moments that didn't feel like the good old days until they were gone."
"So stop waiting for life to start. You're already living it."

You don’t have a motivation problem.
You’ve made your life too comfortable.
No real hunger.
No physical strain.
No meaningful stress.
Just constant ease.
The body adapts to what you expose it to.
Avoid everything hard…
and you train yourself to be fragile.
Discomfort isn’t punishment.
It’s signal.

@Mappy6984 Life can be gone at a blink of an eye. Most people bypass that information and don’t cherish the time they have with their loved ones. As if everything else is more important….until it’s not

@DearS_o_n Serious question ,Is it really about the ‘right woman’ or the kind of man you are?

Major cheat code in life: Be the one who reaches out. Text first. Call first. Plan first. Initialize first. Most people wait to be chosen. Be the chooser. Connection requires initiative. Friendship requires effort. Love requires action. Stop waiting to be picked. Start picking. Initiative is attractive.
