Hi all, Ivan, Sam, and I saw the reception to Zaid’s original icon. We want it to be known that we had no intention of contributing to harmful racial stereotypes in any manner whatsoever, which led to us making this new version. We appreciate your feedback, sorry once again❤️

I’m taking this off priv. Idc it’s something that genuinely irked the shit out of me And btw this is not an excuse to harass the creators of the icons, harassment genuinely does nothing. I’m asking that awareness gets spread cause it’s an issue im seeing a lot w Zaid lately.

Hey! Since we have more images of the Fans and Favourites! We began work on the remaining icons! We haven’t completed them all yet, but it’s slowly coming together! #dctwt (Shading and Lighting versions will be release in a later date)

@JakesSadBird okay, i'll say i stand corrected about the hand, but i still find it hard to believe these parts of the images were deliberate design choices

Inconsistencies does not always equate to the use of AI. Yes there's a mistake in the hand and I noticed it and was given the chance to change it when it was pointed out but truthfully I didn't care. If anything the style is more fluid strokes probably from the art tool being used

@JakesSadBird i totally understand, but having experience drawing in the style myself, there are too many inconsistencies for me to ignore - there's a whole extra hand in the background, the carpet patterns are nonsensical, the line art has strange inconsistencies.
