Travelling farm to farm to harvest crops that will then appear in supermarkets, restaurants etc Every year we face frustrated & angry drivers who are not expecting to see so much large machinery on the road at all times of the day and night. We would love to for you to get behind us and help us bring in the harvest. Help us move around by not trying to jump in between convoys or try and get past us on narrow roads. Leave extra time for your journeys for the next 7 weeks. We always have an escort driver travelling with the combine harvester, this will display wide vehicle signs and is there to warn oncoming traffic to slow down or even pull over as quite often there is not enough room for the combine and another vehicle. THINK TRACTOR FACTOR – Leave extra time for your journey, travel slower and let’s make sure everyone gets home safe this summer. No Farmer Drama ! Eleanor

Absolutely right that high animal welfare systems are used on British farms. But there are additional costs and/or lower productivity - so for the rug to be pulled from under producers by allowing free-for-all egg imports is outrageous. 🐓

@ShaunGroom @BrooklandsMuseu I left a London event early to see Concords fly into @HeathrowAirport for the last time. Gambled on the south runway - sure enough, they came in on the north! Still a great sight though.
