My journey into the corporate world began like this. Looking back today, I can confidently say it was one of the most productive seasons of my life. It was a season of calm, structure, discipline, and steady work that completely shifted my mindset away from the hustle culture I had become accustomed to. It taught me that working hard is important, but building systems is even more important. It changed how I viewed work, leadership, business, and ultimately prepared me for the vision I’m building today. Sometimes, we don’t realize what we’ve been lacking until life introduces us to it. Certain seasons don’t just give us opportunities; they reshape us for the assignments ahead. As you begin this new week, don’t be too quick to dismiss the season you’re in. It may be teaching you the very lessons you’ll need for the future you’ve been praying for. This is Episode 12 of my Why Fashion series. #Tadé #iyawooga #refinedlady

@teslimah99 I own my business, so they can’t report me anywhere. And even when I was working in the corporate sector, my stance was known by everyone, nothing hidden. I’ve never cowered anywhere I get to

@MackOmotade I've watched a lot of your videos, and one thing is always clear, you speak with substance, even in the midst of all the hate. Every single time. I'm sure they already dread hearing you speak. I just hope they haven't gone as far as trying to report you to your place of work 😂

BREAKING: NYSC SPECIALISED STREAMS — FULL BREAKDOWN* ⚡ The Federal Government has officially approved 11 Specialised Streams under the new reformed NYSC. Here is what each one means for YOU 👇 *1️⃣ AGRIC CORPS 🌾* This stream covers modern farming, agribusiness and food security. If you studied agriculture or anything related, this is your lane. You will be trained to contribute directly to Nigeria's food production goals. *2️⃣ MEDICAL CORPS 🏥* Focused on healthcare delivery and public health initiatives. Medical, nursing, pharmacy and health science graduates will be trained and deployed to strengthen Nigeria's health system. *3️⃣ EDUCATION CORPS 📚* This covers teaching, curriculum support and literacy campaigns. Education graduates will be equipped to tackle the learning gaps across the country. *4️⃣ TECH AND DIGITAL CORPS 💻* This is for software developers, AI enthusiasts, cybersecurity experts and digital innovators. Notably, corps members in this stream may stay longer in structured training if their certification takes 3 to 6 months — instead of being posted to a PPA early. *5️⃣ LEGAL CORPS ⚖️* Law graduates will be channelled into legal aid, advocacy and justice system support. You will be helping everyday Nigerians access justice. *6️⃣ PUBLIC SERVICE CORPS 🏛️* This stream covers governance, policy implementation and administrative roles. Great for public administration, political science and social science graduates. *7️⃣ INFRASTRUCTURE CORPS 🏗️* Engineering and construction graduates will be trained for the maintenance and development of public works and infrastructure across Nigeria. *8️⃣ GREEN CORPS 🌱* This stream focuses on environmental sustainability, climate action and renewable energy. If you are passionate about saving the planet, this is your stream. *9️⃣ ENTERPRISE CORPS 💼* Built for entrepreneurs and business-minded corpers. You will receive training in business incubation, SME development and startup building. Perfect for business and economics graduates. *🔟 CREATIVE ECONOMY CORPS 🎨* Arts, media, entertainment and cultural industries. This stream recognises the power of Nigeria's creative sector and will train corpers to contribute to it professionally. *1️⃣1️⃣ PARAMILITARY AND SECURITY CORPS 🛡️* This stream covers community policing, disaster response and national security support. Ideal for those with a background or interest in security and public safety. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 📌 *HOW IT WORKS:* Once your registration is uploaded and accepted on the NYSC portal, you will be required to *select ONE stream* that matches your academic background and skill profile. You will then receive specialised training in that stream during your 6-week orientation camp. ⏳ *These reforms are the first in 53 years and take effect immediately.* All thanks to this present administration ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Once I gained clarity on where my energy should be channeled, I went in fully without holding back. I think that’s just how I’m wired. I don’t tiptoe around decisions for too long. Once I’m convinced, I dive in completely and trust myself to figure things out along the way. I know that isn’t how everyone is built, and truthfully, not everyone can survive that way. But over the years, I’ve come to accept that this is simply part of who I am. Ironically, this very path eventually led me into the corporate world, where another important chapter of my journey began. This is Episode 11 of my Why Fashion series. #Tadé #iyawooga #refinedlady

In the past few days, I’ve intentionally laid many foundations with this series. And today’s episode is perhaps the most important so far because it firmly establishes the “Why Fashion” behind my journey. It answers the question of why I ventured into fashion, and the episodes that will follow this will answer an even bigger question: “Why not fashion?” Sometimes, the answers we’re desperately searching for aren’t in the future. They’re buried in our history, in experiences we’ve ignored, pains we’ve tried to forget, promises we’ve made, or paths we’ve refused to revisit. Perhaps your purpose is sitting quietly in a chapter of your past that you’ve long closed. I hope my story helps you find the courage to revisit yours. This is Episode 10 of my series. #Tadé #iyawooga #refinedlady

It’s so funny to see that people are genuinely angry that we are celebrating the safe return of the kidnapped children. Like… were you expecting to hear that they had been killed so you could score some cheap political points? Were you looking for another campaign material? Or what exactly were you waiting for? We are thanking God, thanking the Federal Government, and appreciating the security personnel for bringing these children back safely, yet some of you are still fuming. Y’all will surely fume more. Go and look for another point to campaign with because this one, God has already shut your mouths. For weeks, you people were counting days. “It’s been 30 days.” “It’s been 40 days.” “It’s been 50 days.” Every day came with another countdown and another round of outrage. Now the children are back alive, and you are still angry. Some are asking, “Who rescued them?” “How did they come back?” “Are we sure these are the children” “Why are they smiling?” “Where are the bandits?” Some are even questioning why we are happy or grateful in the first place. If the reverse had happened, social media would have been on fire by now with calls for the President to resign. Now some of you are asking why we are thanking the President and not the governor, as though when the news of the kidnapping first broke, it wasn’t the President you blamed, abused, and held responsible. So when it was time to apportion blame, his name was everywhere. But now that the children have returned safely, suddenly his name should not be mentioned? Something is truly working many of you in the head. Once again, we are genuinely happy that these children and their teachers have returned home safely to their families. And to those who are unhappy because this did not end the way you hoped, may the sadness you have chosen remain with you forever. And before I forget, fem your gutter mouth. #Tadé
