Michael King, who has been the Padres' best starter this season, exits after just 3 2/3. He allowed four runs and leaves with the bases loaded. Serious lack of command from King. Some hittable mistakes early, then a whole bunch of walks later. A's lead 4-0, threatening for more.
The housing market is giving every single imaginable signal that it is on the brink of collapse and people will still deny the obvious because their egos won’t let them accept that reality.
The crash it’s coming whether they like it or not.

Final: Dodgers 4, Padres 0
The Dodgers' stars played like stars tonight. The Padres' stars did not. (And have not all season.) L.A. takes the series, and an early 1 1/2-game NL West lead. The two rivals will meet again in late June.
Final: Dodgers 5, Padres 4
Dreadful time for Mason Miller's first career error. Instead of two outs, bases empty, Miller's errant throw to first base (off Ty France's glove) put the go-ahead run on third. That run scored on Andy Pages' sac fly. Series even at a game apiece.
@AJCassavell Appreciate Peter’s intentions but he objectively ruined the outlook of this franchise by handing out massive, backloaded contracts to players into their late 30’s/early 40’s
Final: Brewers 7, Padres 1
The Padres are falling behind too often. They've been outscored 69-35 in the first three innings. Sometimes, they come back and win. And sometimes this happens. Rough day all around for the Padres, who drop their first road series of the season.
