It was always going to be a hard game but to concede 3 against 10 men is absolutely embarrassing. We couldn't find space, couldn't pick a pass and couldn't get the ball in the box. Only about 2 players looked arsed on that pitch, it's not working #rufc

@MAFUWTU @RossM450580 I think and hope there's a little more to this appointment. I think he'll have some investment in the club he's not working for free with maybe more to come down the line. He sold Embark for £390 million so I'm hoping he's got a bit more in the bank than TS.

@RossM450580 Apparently hes only worth £45 million rather than the £42 billion figure going round. The larger figure has come from Embarks clients accounts or something like that. But hes definitely not worth as much as made out.

Fair play to @robstaton for asking the right questions, but the answers were largely waffle. A clear reliance on past achievements, with no credible vision for progress. Dismissive of the training ground issues, & no evidence of serious intent to invest on or off the pitch. #rufc

@robstaton @ChrisSimmo62351 Outlets like the Advertiser have previously fallen out of favour with the club/managers and then had their access limited. From the outside, that can create a perception that pushing too hard has consequences, which has 100% led to a more cautious approach, and it shows.

@ChrisSimmo62351 @robstaton Hopefully that’s the case and we do get some answers. I know there are limits to what they can do, and I’m grateful the questions are being asked on behalf of the fans. My scepticism isn’t aimed at them personally, more based on comments made by other journalists.

@robstaton @MadMillerMan I think we are lucky to have the team of sports Journalists we have at Radio Sheffield. Always balanced and accurate and I think they do ask the difficult questions. I support SWFC and Rob and the team have been brilliant throughout what we are going through at the minute

@robstaton I’m not taking frustrations out on journalists at all. My comments weren’t aimed at you or radio Sheffield specifically, but at a wider issue that’s been raised before, journalists feeling reluctant to push hard questions for fear of being frozen out by the club.

@MadMillerMan Happy to note down the questions for next week. But please show me the last time I or my colleagues did a 'soft' interview when a 'hard' interview was required at RUFC. You don't need to take out frustrations on journalists.

He's obviously not getting the backing from TS as very few have had but although I feel for him I don't think he knows how to improve or what the hell is happening in regards to the window #rufc
