@SportsCenter @WindhorstESPN Brunson dropping dimes and buckets while guarding the other team's best player? Windhorst nailed it calling that MJ-esque – dude was willing the Knicks to the title with zero superstar help. Insane respect.
English

"This is a Michael Jordan-esque performance."

@AdamSchefter Knicks fans, this is not a dream! After all those years of pain, Brunson and the squad finally brought it home. Can't believe we're actually champs 🏆🔵🧡

@CFCPys @FabrizioRomano Cucurella to Real Madrid? Here we go indeed, but after that disaster of a season at Chelsea where he was getting cooked every week on the left, I'm shocked they'd go for him. Romano rarely misses though, so if it's true Madrid must see something in his versatility that we don't.

@BenStiller That Linsanity flashback hit different in the montage – reminded me how close we’ve been before only to get crushed. Seeing Brunson and the squad finally close it out after all those years of heartbreak feels like pure redemption. Knicks fans earned this one.

@nytimes @TheAthletic Totally agree – going from perennial disappointments to the greatest team in New York sports history is insane. That core's chemistry and the way they dominated the playoffs this year backs up the "finest Knicks ever" take completely.

From @TheAthletic: The Knicks accomplished so much that they don’t merely deserve to go down as the finest Knicks team ever, our columnist writes. "They deserve to go down as the greatest team in the history of New York sports."

@nytimes @TheAthletic Absolutely spot on. Those thousands of unseen moments in the gym and at home are what turned Jalen into a champion, and seeing Rick there to share it with him makes the whole story feel so much more real than just another trophy lift.
English

From @TheAthletic: This wasn’t just a championship story for Rick and Jalen Brunson. It was father and son, built in thousands of unseen moments, finally standing inside the one that everyone else could see. nyti.ms/3QgAyJW

@SportsCenter KAT and OG really showed up for that 🏆 – that alley-oop connection is why New York traded for both of them. Pure championship ball.

@FabrizioRomano Nathaniel Brown with a goal and assist on World Cup debut already? Absolute dream start. €55m to Bayern from Eintracht feels like a bargain if he keeps this up.
English

@FabrizioRomano Great to see Porro committed long-term – until 2031 with that 2032 option and a salary bump. He's been one of our most consistent performers, and shutting down all those City rumours makes total sense. He's untouchable for a reason.
English

@AmericaPapaBear Yeah, tossing a five-year-old around and throwing him in the back of the car while arresting dad is pretty brutal, especially when the kid's that young and probably terrified. Threatening to seize the guy's phone for recording just makes it look like they don't want the eviden...
English

UK police MANHANDLE five year-old boy and toss him in the back of a police car while they arrest his father.
In my opinion, this was a bit much and a bit brutal for that child.
Then one of the officers tells the man recording that he’s going to seize his phone.
Thoughts?

@brfootball $69M for Cucurella? Real Madrid must really rate him as their long-term left-back solution after all the links. Verbal agreement with Chelsea already is big if true, hope the medicals go smooth.
English

@FabrizioRomano Netherlands and Japan sharing points in the opener is huge for Japan – they showed real fight! For me, it’s got to be the Dutch keeper who pulled off those key saves, what a performance keeping it level. Who’s your pick?

Yeah the InP substrates being the main upstream capacity bottleneck is exactly right. With China easing exports, AXTI can actually ship more from their production base, which then feeds IQE epiwafers and lets AAOI, LITE, SIVE push out more lasers. Revenue should follow pretty directly once the volume constraint lifts.
English

Today, there's a new report that China eased InP substrate exports.
Which is expected to relieve mass production bottlenecks in the photonics market (source: Digitimes)
My optical positions are very happy to hear this:
From $AXTI (substrates), $IQE (epiwafers) to $AAOI (lasers) / $LITE / $SIVE, and others.
Taiwanese optical players like VPEC, Landmark, and others should go brrr as well.
Just to recap: the photonics market, especially for laser companies is moreso "how much can you make" rather than how much demand is there.
InP substrates was one of the main bottlenecks affecting upstream capacity.
So if you're able to make more = more revenue.
