While the Tories were partying in lockdown. I was travelling 2 hours to visit my husband, just to stand outside his hospital window because I wasn’t allowed in. Countless others experienced the same, if not worse. They do not care about you. Fuck the Tories. Go Vote.

When my husband was first diagnosed, he was alone. For 3 weeks after, he was alone. For 3 months after, I could only see him 1 hour a week. For 6 months after, I could only see him 1 hour a day. I will never get that time back. Fuck the Tories. Go Vote.

@ShoaibMKhan For people who are already on a visa, the government will surely lose this in court. Its 'moving the goalposts', which is maladministration. They have lost before on changes like this. But that could be the intention - lose in court and blame the judiciary.

The govt ignored its own advisers’ recommendations to lower the income requirement for family visas before raising it by £20,000. The change goes against advice of Home Office’s Migration Advisory Committee, which urged govt to lower income requirement. opendemocracy.net/en/home-office…
