Can someone explain why my 6 months old nephew has object permanence for my phone but no other things? I swear it’s “out of sight out of mind” except when I hide my phone. He keeps staring at the location and waves his hand at it.

@SolomonKurz I've done it when working with colleagues who are concerned about scooping. I try to set a middle path where the embargo is released a few months down the road, before we are done for sure, but with enough of a head start that it would be hard to "catch" us
