@ryanhammer09 @oriolesprod From my understanding it just means they can’t contact the player directly. Agent is free game which is why some players do this

he is focused on draft i would imagine so doesnt want/need anything wild rn And/or he has a couple of spots he has connections too or has talked to prior and doesnt need any new teams thinking they can get him i actually appreciate the no contact for that reason dont waste anyones time

Arguably best player in the portal. Allen Graves is 1000% like that. Still think there is a strong chance his draft stock could rise to a point where he stays in but that open portal market would hit crazy if he lifted the "do not contact"
College Basketball Report@CBKReport

BREAKING: Santa Clara star freshman Allen Graves will enter the transfer portal with a “do not contact” tag, per @PeteNakos. Graves averaged 11.8 PPG, 6.5 RPG, 1.8 APG, 0.9 BPG, 1.9 SPG on 51/41/75 splits. He is also going through the NBA Draft process.

Their stuff at that price point genuinely becomes a brunello, zenga competitor. And I think their quality is very close if not there for less than half the price. For those mentioning things like PM being at Costco and the sales they run, yes it definitely dilutes the brand. But crown crafted is their version of, in a way, Ralph Lauren purple label. Same name but that’s where anything in common stops . Different fabrics, design, etc, no comparison to less expensive lines. I have a good bit of zenga/brunello, and now a lot of crown crafted, and have been incredibly impressed. My sales rep told me they recently got some lead designer at zenga and/or brunello… forget the details but PM knows the audience they are targeting.

@TypicalTuffyFan I know you guys aren’t used to bragging about academics with UNC and Duke in state, but you can’t brag about your admission standards and then turn around and say some ignorant shit.

Dude drove here by himself. Is Entourage and him were laughing their asses off and then they paid an employee on the spot to leave or she'll call the cops. And believe it or not that's exactly what happened. Leaving now. What an absolute Twinkie

@HighyieldHarry $10 billion in revenue, wtf? I didn't know law firms approached those kind of numbers. That's the amount the entire NBA (all 30 teams combined) makes annually

@chryskon @junkbondinvest Thanks for the detailed response. How does the recovery value work? I don’t understand these structures. Does that just mean the asset (the loan?) gets sold at a discount? Or they have recourse to other assets of the borrower?

If a CLO is issued at $500M, typically that consists of $450M of debt tranches and $50M of equity that acquire ~$500M worth of BSL loans. The most senior $325M Triple-A tranche would have subordinated cushion of 35% (picture below shows example where it’s 36%). If the CLO portfolio degrades and CLO tests like overcollateralization fails, cash flows get diverted to deleverage and pay down senior tranche. In my extreme example, if 100% of the portfolio were to default, because these are mostly senior secured loans there is a recovery value. Assuming for every loan that defaulted there was a recovery value of 65% (or $325M) the proceeds would be enough to repay the entire CLO Triple tranche. Would never come to that though and this is highly improbable scenario. The CLO equity or mezz debt may suffer but those are typically owned by hedge funds or institutional investors with higher risk appetite.

$300B in bank loans to private credit funds, BDCs, and CLOs. "Private credit moved risk out of the banking system" was always the pitch. The banks just lent to the funds instead of the borrowers.

@chryskon @junkbondinvest How does this work? How can there be 100% default but a 65% recovery rate and the triple A holders break-even? Genuine question on the math

The banks are lending on a diversified pool with deep haircuts to absorb any defaults. Most banks invest in CLO Triple As, that have a 35% cushion. To put that into perspective, 100% of a loan portfolio can default but recover 65 cents on the dollar and the Triple A holders would break even.

Wild the range of possible outcomes still on the table for State: Beat Duke and you’re undefeated against other North Carolina teams in Will Wade’s Year 1. Lose out and get beat by a team like Pitt in the ACC tourney and you head to the NIT.

@FSUHoops Great win noles! Only thing keeping 6 away from being elite is the turnovers. 2-2 vs top 4 in the acc. Couldve easily been 3-1 and its not a stretch to say 4-0. Future is bright

@statefansnation According to bracket matrix they’re the epitome of the bubble right now. 7 league wins, 1 vs Clemson and the other 6 against teams 12-18 in the standings. Highest protected seed 9 and most have them 9-11. That’s the bubble.

Pack almost scores 100 on the road vs a Big Four opponent for *another* real road win. Currently a Q1 win; won't be worse than a Q2 in any circumstance. Would be hard to see this hurting our NET (~27 coming in) as metrics will love an 18 point win on the road. Wolfpack is currently in sole possession of 3rd place in the ACC and definitely not currently on the bubble. Have built a small buffer of an extra game or two at this point. Travel to SMU on Tuesday for a key road game against a currently projected NCAA Tournament team. #GoPack

NC State coach Will Wade is asked about roster retention/portal: "I suspect we'll keep a couple off [this year's team]. It won't be a third. We have a very clear vision of what we want to do." "...We have much more time this time around. Our hit rate will go way up."
