That is simply untrue.

@Kurodou3 @RottenInDenmark Yeah, I suspect that if you did a breakdown of the numbers, most men who female protagonists are interested in would also be interested in return, for the same reason. But when women so much more rarely *are* the protagonists, especially outside of romance, it becomes obtrusive.

@RottenInDenmark I get that from a story mechanics perspective; realistic attractions are often subplots that don't go anywhere, and movies are desperate to be efficient. But it does add up a picture of rejection as this high stakes existential tragedy.

He wants to make a "free speech" enclave that's actually about catering to his ego and allowing despicable opinions to fester. And he can do that, because he's in charge. Staying on Twitter doesn't change anything, and it doesn't stick it to him. It just makes him money.

I understand why people don't want to leave Twitter, and I certainly don't think staying here is Letting Down the Cause, or whatever, but staying on Fascism Guy's website is in no way hurting fascism.

@jennifercarolyn I'm gonna be honest, I'm mostly just rooting for him to lose so much money. I'm not making a Mastodon account, but I'd also have no problem giving up Twitter if it became unusable/rarely used
