I feel like female musical artists donโ€™t get taken seriously because 80% of the lyrics are bitching about men. Which is extremely valid bc theyโ€™re icky but letโ€™s just ignore them and talk about something else

In the early 1500s, disaffected Christians led by Martin Luther sought to break away from the Roman Catholic Church. Martin Luther and his followers claimed the Church had become corrupt by its own power after it began accepting money in exchange for the forgiveness of sins. They also claimed the papacy was keeping Christians in captivity this way, and compared Rome to ancient Babylon. Because of this, they saw the Pope as the Antichrist, and the Church became divided, resulting in the creation of many new denominations. This event became known as the Reformation, and the protesting Christians became known as Protestants and Lutherans. Before this happened, there was only 4 denominations, but they would then multiply into 45,000 over time. Up until this point in time, most Christians were Historicists, meaning they were under the impression that the Book of Revelation was in the process of being fulfilled, and that the Great Tribulation and the destruction of the Temple had already occurred around 70 AD when Christians were ruthlessly persecuted by the Roman Empire, which they also saw as the Antichrist. According to the Historicists, there wasnโ€™t just one Antichrist, but many. It was a spirit and not a singular figure. Some say this spirit used a secret society of Jesuits as the corrupting influence within the papacy. Oddly enough, Jesuits within the papacy would lead their own Counter-Reformation, resulting in the creation of many new seemingly misleading doctrines. Historicist reformers claimed the Roman Catholic Church was using these doctrines to defend itself against the masses of rebelling believers. These doctrines included Preterism and Futurism. Preterism, which was created by the Jesuit Luis de Alcasar, is the belief that every single prophecy in the Bible has already been fulfilled, while Futurism, which was created by the Jesuits Francisco Ribera and Manuel Lacunza, is the belief that the Great Tribulation, the destruction of the Temple, and the Antichristโ€™s arrival are all going to happen at some point in the future. Ironically, both of these ideas did successfully redirect the attention of many Christians away from the papacy. Futurism is now taught in nearly every seminary school and preached in nearly every church. Perhaps part of the Counter-Reformation was infiltrating the many new denominations with Jesuit agents. Nevertheless, Futurist interpretations of the Bible are also the subject of many Hollywood movies and Illuminati conspiracy theories. So, it seems many Christians and conspiracy theorists have actually been primed to expect the arrival of a singular Antichrist figure. However, as the world continues to descend into chaos, it also seems like the Jesuits were right about a coming Great Tribulation. Supposedly, there are even plans to build another Temple. But is it possible this is only because secret societies have been using the Futurist doctrine as a script to stage a massive deception, or what Saint Paul called a strong delusion? What would happen if the supposed Antichrist were to come and go without Jesus Christ showing up immediately after? Would Christians lose their faith and accept another savior? Perhaps the end is farther off than most realize, and we will have to endure a lawless New Age before the Second Coming actually occurs.
