The Final Heat of the H1 race was stopped after Corey Peabody flipped at the end of the front straighsway. He was extracted but appeared to be unconscious when he was loaded in the ambulance. However, the ambulance has not yet left.

The U-40 Beacon Plumbing threw a propeller in testing Friday morning and tore up the bottom of the boat. They have officially withdrawn, leaving us with 5 boats. They claim to have hit a log, which is possible. But this is the cleanest I've seen this river in a long time.

The best heat of the day proves to go for naught. Jimmy Shane holds off Jamie Nilsen to win Heat 4B in the U-1 Miss HomeStreet/Miss Madison, but Nilsen is called God jumping the gun. J. Michael Kelly (8) places 2nd and Nilsen (11) gets 3rd. Shane wins all 4 of his prelims.
