Australian cricket team is a case study for other cricket playing nations. Their grit, determination and self believe make them invincible. They are mentally tough due to their upbringing and great sporting culture. #INDvsAUS

#OnThisDay in 1992, one of the greatest Test careers of all time came to an end. Imran Khan's numbers at the end of his career are mind-boggling 🤯

@SajSadiqCricket You play to win.Nobody aims to lose at international level and champions like Dhoni, Stokes play just to win, there is no other word in their dictionary.

Who is the all-time best all-rounder in world cricket? Garry Sobers Imran Khan Ian Botham Kapil Dev Jacques Kallis Any other options? Need an opinion irrespective of ODI or Test cricket. Wouldn't really change much in these options either format, world class players.

Babar has been captain since 2019. He has had 3 tournaments (2 ICC) to prove himself and we've come up short in all through similar mistakes, so there's no lessons being learnt. It's in his best interest and the team that he step aside and let a more tactically astute play

Without a doubt one of @BLACKCAPS finest white ball batsman @Martyguptill. I’m surprised and gutted to see him missing from both ODI & T20 squads. Shown commitment & loyalty to NZC when others in recent times have turned down contracts.

Pakistan fans celebrate Shaheen returning to the field like they've won the World Cup. His 2 overs left will go a long way to determining who wins the World Cup

@MervsT @michelappleton But as a perception, it seems that neither players nor the audience are interested in a longer white ball format.

The ODI Cricket World Cup - in terms of player & fan reactions - will continue to be viewed as the peak title of men’s 🏏 Its rarity - once every 4 years vs 2 for T20WC & WTC - makes it more valuable. And it’s the oldest of the 3, first held ~a half-century ago in 1975.

@MervsT @michelappleton Don't you think 50 over format is outdated. It should be scrapped as teams are out of practice.

@michelappleton Yeah completely agree with you. Since this would be held during a period of the year where winter sets in few parts of India. Dealing with dew would be a key skill, teams should gear for!!!

I don’t know why ICC couldn’t just move the match out of Melbourne even now? Like there’s 100% chance of rain ruining the match and it’s a World Cup final fgs. Don’t tell me that crowd or broadcaster crap because they have backup crew and thousands of people and crowd is going to
