@flyPAL Thanks but you didn’t answer my question: Is this a standard procedure in all terminals/airports? Because I had a different experience in Davao (and a friend in Cebu). Just want to be clarified so we know what to expect from your ground customer service.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us, Mae. We understand how frustrating a delay can be, especially during dinner time. For delays around two hours, we currently provide snacks, while full meals are arranged for delays of three hours or more.

We were served snacks, this and only this—mamon and bottled water. So I asked the ground crew:
Wouldn’t it be nice if you give us free dinner since it’s dinner time already?
Her reply:
Kung 3hrs, meal na ibibigay.

@flyPAL It doesn’t say that a full meal can be provided only if 3hrs. I got a notice of delay 4hrs prior to the new sched, wouldn’t it be enough for you to coordinate for the provision of meals not only refreshments (because the effort is still the same thou). Customer service is key.

@flyPAL Is this a standard in all your airports? I had a couple of flight delays in Davao before where they served a basic McDo meal because it was already evening, which was much appreciated. Did some research and saw this: 2 or 3hrs you should provide refreshments OR meals.
