@Targ_Nation Who the hell thinks Rhaenyra contextualizes Dany? Their stories couldn't be more different. One of the reasons Dany's story is so compelling is that gender plays almost no role in it. It would've, if GRRM was a worse writer, but thankfully he's not. Dany's story transcends gender

every asoiaf fan i knew before hotd was already unequivocally on rhaenyra's side because everyone understood fire & blood exists to give context to daenerys in the main story. because it isn't just rhaenyra, it's visenya,rhaena, rhaenys that were denied the throne for being women

It's hilarious because during estrogen shortage a few pharmacies in my town had been found telling trans women they didn't have estrogen left just so they could give it to their cis customers

Mom just asked me if trans women taking estrogen are considered medically necessary. I was like what? Turns out there’s a shortage of estrogen right now and women on it for health reasons can’t get it and doctors are telling these women that it’s bc trans women are taking it all
