Modern Warfare 2019 was the perfect storm in a lot of ways. Its a horrible multiplayer, but it still got over bc: - A global pandemic had everyone stuck at home - Warzone was free (unlike Blackout) and it piggybacked off Fortnite hype - It was the first "Modern Warfare" game in 8 years - The game was literally made for bad players, from the top down, which boosted a lot of egos Nostalgia aside, its one of the worst COD multiplayers ever and it set the franchise back for years, and we're still recovering from it

The Senate’s Kids Online Safety Act (KOSA, S. 1748) sets a strong, bipartisan standard by requiring Big Tech to exercise a “duty of care” in designing social media and gaming platforms — putting child safety first without limiting free speech. Unfortunately, the House’s KIDS Act (HR 7757) falls short. It removes this crucial duty of care, limits state powers to protect kids, and lets tech companies police themselves with minimal accountability. This letter to Senators Cornyn and Cruz urges them to respond to the strong bipartisan support of the Texas Senate for the language in the US Senate’s KOSA — a bill that balances federal standards with states’ rights to enact stronger protections as technology evolves. It looks like DLSS 5 was an AI-gen filter after all. YouTube Creator “Daniel Owen” asked Nvidia some questions regarding DLSS 5 and if it essentially just takes a single 2D frame with motion vectors as input to generate the output frame. The amount of buzz words Jensen Huang said like; Neural Rendering, Content-Control Generative AI and generative control at the geometry level just to end up admitting that DLSS 5 is what everyone suspected; an AI filter on top of your video-games.
