You can even make up your own definition and all sorts of rules to make whatever rock you want a planet! Ceres has been a planet, asteroid and a dwarf planet over the past 200+ years! Fun fact, what you call it doesn't actually change anything about it and the rock does not care

I get people like Pluto, it has a cute name and had an amazing photo shoot with New Horizons but it will not be a planet without adding at least a dozen others and new definitions would likely push us up to or over 100 planets which is silly. Nobody actually cares, move along

@Knightly_Hist for Star War specifically I've always thought the rebel uniforms on Hoth and Endor went hard. They just tend to have a different aesthetic language I guess? Idk I don't know enough about this kinda stuff to express it intelligently.

I actually don't think it happens that often though but the reason is probably because the bad guys are designed to be menacing or imposing.
Which as a design principle, tends to yield more compelling visuals than relatable or familiar.
You're not imnune to aesthetics.

@big_pedestrian Tanks are designed to be as low as possible, making make them harder to see and easier to hide behind obstacles. Also tanks don't need to follow CAFE standards, which is why the trucks are so big.

The only thing to add here is that this image was made with a 6’ male as the referent driver. This is 3” taller than the average US male.
The average woman in the US is just under 5’ 4”. Which would give them far worse visibility.
