@AvesBooks @WaywardCelestia I agree wholeheartedly! Publishing your work has numerous paths and one way is not always the best for you and your story. Keep an open mind to all paths to the reader.

@WaywardCelestia Just sliding in to say as both indie, trad, acqu. Ed, and searching for my third editor, it doesn’t have to be a one or nothing path. You can do it multiple ways! Don’t get bogged down. It’s ok to earn in the mean time.

@scasswriting I also edit as I go. I reread previous days work to re-engage with my story, edit that piece, then move forward again. It does take longer but it's what works for me.

Editing as I write slows down the process a lot but it also means that my "first draft" is actually my third/fourth draft & is pretty much ready to go once it's finished, pending feedback from betas on the plot as a whole. I'm curious if anyone else edits as they go?
