A significant step towards strengthening care and opportunities for children in institutional settings.
On 17th March, Magic Bus India Foundation signed an agreement with the Department of Women and Child Development (WCD), Government of NCT of Delhi, in the presence of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi. This partnership marks a shared commitment to creating safer, more enabling environments for children and young people in need of care and protection.
Through this collaboration, Magic Bus will implement its sports and play-based life skills curriculum across 20 identified Government-run Child Care Institutions (CCIs). Designed around experiential learning, the programme uses sport as a tool to build life skills such as emotional regulation, stress management, self-awareness, and confidence.
By strengthening resilience, aspirations, and social connections with peers and trusted adults, the initiative aims to equip young people with the skills they need to navigate challenges and move towards a more secure and hopeful future.
Together, we can create systems that don’t just care, but empower. Let’s join hands and make a difference.
