I've long admired you as a great and courageous activist but I think you're completely bought into a FUD story about AI. Its potential to create whole new markets and economies is unimaginable. The loom didn't just kill jobs, it created a massive textile industry that employs several orders of magnitude more people than the weaving industry ever did. Cars put the horse and carriage industries out to pasture but opened whole new avenues of businesses and cultural evolution. AI could open doors we can't literally see coming with our current structure of consciousness. The amount of AI-assisted advancement in self, culture, society and technology we could see over the next 10-20 years could dwarf all the improvements of the last 100 years. I hold AI as a co-evolutionary force for humanity. I'm pretty sure our future depends on human/ai symbiotic superintelligence.
