I have successfully wiped my PC. After changing 30+ unique passwords on a safe device and assuring I have 2FA enabled on my most important accounts, I'm feeling quite safe again. Thank you all for your kind messages and tips 💖

My PC has been hacked. As a result, I must do a full wipe and reinstall the OS on my PC. I'm devastated. Also, no streams until next week. If you notice any unusual activity from me before Monday, please CLICK NO LINKS. I'm glad to have saved most of my accounts, though.

7. If you have boundaries, triggers, or topics you do not wish to discuss, let your collab mates know.
8. If you are chatty (like me) be mindful and leave lots of room for others to talk.
9. Plan breaks. Not everyone can go 3 hours or more without a break!

Recently? No! Here are my tips for good experiences:
1. Have a (pre-collab) offstream meet and greet!
2. Visit each other's streams beforehand to get an idea of how collaborators run their stream.
3. Communicate often and confirm dates at least a few days ahead of time.

Do you guys have any bad collab experiences? My worst one was a couple years ago with a VTuber. We were supposed to play Valorant together, but something came up on their end. They canceled less than an hour before we were scheduled to go live. I get that emergencies happen, so I reached out to reschedule… and got completely ghosted. A short while later, they even unfollowed me. We had similar-sized audiences, so it wasn’t like I was a nobody to them. I was just left hanging with nothing. I hope they were okay, but it definitely left a sour taste in my mouth.

4. Join an existing friend's collab! You can meet new people with the buffer of a mutual friend
5. Don't. Share. Personal. Details. As with any internet stranger
6. If someone makes you uncomfy or upset, either message them privately or tell them directly, at your discretion

@SnowFable Have a pre-collab meet and greet! You can get used to each other's voices and talkativeness, and you can (if you are comfortable) voice any concerns you have about being talked over. If they hear your concerns and STILL talk over you though? Maybe not a good fit.

I'll say this,
I have been trying to improve on my collab etiquette. I have run into a lot of issues of my voice being so soft and gentle that people talk over me... a lot.
And when this happens, its not just about me not having a good time. Its that my community SEES and HEARS my collab partners talking over me and ignoring me. I then, as a collab partner, have to make a decision on how to proceed so we don't walk away from that experience with my community writing those creators off as rude.
Its a rock and a hard place because people talking over me has usually nothing to do with the quality of their character and more to do with their culture. So, I'm always at a crossroads. Do I simply not talk unless spoken to? Or, do i find a way to excuse myself from the collab to prevent further damage?
And then, with future collabs, how do i bring up this concern? Its why I tend to be picky sometimes with WHO I want on my stream. Do I think they are going to make space for me in front of a community who holds me so dear?
I have a collaborative spirit, but a voice that is louder in my actions than my words. I always love a kindred spirit, but then, I want to love those who don't understand me the same.

@NeonKatVT Thanks, I'd rather go overkill to ensure it doesn't happen again then let it slip through the cracks of malwarebytes. I even wiped my phone to be sure.

@SonatikaOffcl Might be a lost cause. Thankfully I export a lot of my finished work to the cloud so I'm not worried about that, but I will lose any unfinished work which is rough to say the least.
