@cheesydub In my own experience I think it stems from Chess's popularity in the west. Its a more popular and a more forgiving game.

将棋の海外普及におけるハードル 1)チェスという最大のライバルがいる 2)将棋に興味を持っても指す場所などの情報がない 3)指せるようになったら今度は教材がない 4)強くなると今度は身近に相手がいない 有志の方やプロ、女流棋士の先生方のご尽力やオンライン対局アプリの普及により、2～4のうちいくつかは快適になってきました。しかしビジネスとしてスケールするにはチェスよりも始めたいと思う理由を作らないといけません。その理由をどう作るか・・だけが最も重要で、もし投資ができるならそこにフォーカスするべきだと私は思います。 以下よくあるご意見に対する勝手な私見 ●駒が漢字だからじゃない？→あまり関係ないようです。海外のプレイヤーは漢字が読めなくても識別できますし、それで抵抗を覚える人は感覚的には少ないです（海外プレイヤーに聞いた話なので統計的な話ではないです） ●教材が少ないからじゃない？→これは「興味を持ってる人が数百万人規模でめっちゃいるけどみんな教材がなくてやめていく」という世界線の話ならこれが結論でＯＫです。でも現状は違います。教材がまだ少ないのはたしかに課題ではあるものの、スケールしていかない理由はこれではないです ●普及の人材や回数が少ないからじゃない？ 対面普及自体は良いことですし、ボランティアの方は結構いらっしゃいます。しかしスケールするためには対面普及は時間や投資効率がよくないため、現存または新規のオンラインアプリの海外適性を高めていくほうがはるかに効率が良いのかなと思います。 ●将棋アプリは英語対応してるよ？ 言語対応してるかどうかというのは、言語という障壁の一つを取り除いているにすぎません。なので、それだけで海外適性をはかることはできません。ゲームを楽しんでもらうためには●楽しさを伝え、●楽しいなと思ってもらい、●アプリをダウンロードしてもらうことが大事なので、そこだけがポイントではないんですよね。

@KiteKharon @The25thNigga Reminds me of when Lex got some lantern power rings. While most GLs make things like giant anvils and boxing gloves, Lex's constructs were engineered mechanical tech.

@The25thNigga Luthor with Flashes powers mastered would be one of the greatest villains ever seen. Flash "thinks faster" and while Wally or Barry isn't dumb and they get a buff from this imagine a Lex with not only a intelligence buff but also the power to make nukes with his hands or more

I loved this episode, I got to see some new heroes I’ve never seen before like doctor light and Ice. Also Goddamn Mr Terrific outsmarting Luthor in the Flash’s body was pretty impressive considering if they lost this fight he could have done a lot of damage

Finished season 1 of JLU and this was my favorite episode so far. Getting to see both Bruce’s interact with Terry & John with his son was also really cool. It’s crazy that they saved the entire universe and John and Batman are the only ones to remember it. Easy 10/10 season
