Today in Abuja, I joined family, friends, and associates in prayer for the repose of Haijiya Umma El-Rufai at the funeral of the late mother of my dear brother, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai.
I extend my sincere condolences to Mallam Nasir @elrufai and the entire family. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. May you find strength in the memories you shared and comfort in the support of those around you.
I pray that Almighty Allah forgives her shortcomings, grants her eternal rest, and admits her into Aljannah Firdaus. May He also grant the family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
Moments like this remind us of our shared humanity, beyond politics, ethnicity, and religion, and the need to continue to build a society anchored on compassion, unity, and mutual respect.
May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace. -PO

Yesterday, Saturday 28th March, I travelled to Aba, Abia State to honour the invitation of the representative of the people Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe and to meet stakeholders of the Africa Democratic Congress (ADC).
I thank Senator Abaribe and his team for the warm reception and I thank Governor Alex Otti for the good work he has done in Enyimba City.
I had a one-hour interview with Magic fm which is my first interview on the radio and TV this year. I thank the stakeholders of ADC for their warm welcome and the good interaction we had.
When I speak about moving the country from consumption to production Aba remains one of the cities that will contribute immensely to that as it remains a home for garment and shoe production. Both products, garments and shoe remains top and earn as much as we earn from oil for Bangladesh and Vietnam respectively and can do so for Nigeria if well managed and supported.
Our challenge remains Competent leadership with capacity, compassion, and commitment to the development of our country as it is in other comparable nations.
A New Nigeria Is POssible. -PO

@HighChiefOkoro @HighChiefOkoro As Nigeria does not have light, may you never have light in your life, May your children suffer worst than what those children in IDP camps are suffering.

@HighChiefOkoro Your whole family including your useless f@ ther that didn’t bring you up well is best qualified for urchins .

This APC National Convention has brought Peter Obi and his urchins back to reality.
They’ve realized that their online noise hasn’t changed anything in real life. The APC is by far stronger than they ever imagined.
They know they can’t compete via elections, they’ve started calling for revolution. Don’t be fooled, Peter Obi is aware.
Their plan is “if we can’t get it, we will burn it down”.
But I am extremely sure that when they come with their revolution, they will be met with fierce resistance from people that are willing to die for their country.
End.

Nigeria’s Ambassador-designate to Germany, Femi Fani-Kayode, has said God forbid that former presidential candidate Peter Obi becomes President of Nigeria.
He, however, failed to give a reason for making the statement during an interview with Nigeria Today News Network.
Speaking further, Fani-Kayode, a former Minister of Aviation, advised former Vice President Atiku Abubakar to abandon his presidential ambition to enable others vie for the seat.
He said, “I have respect for our former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, but I also believe that it’s time for him to simply say ‘let others continue the work’.”
On opposition politics in Nigeria, Fani-Kayode stated that no such thing exists because it has collapsed.
Regarding the opposition from the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Fani-Kayode described the party as desperate for power, with no vision to move the country forward.
“I don’t see ADC as an opposition party: I see them as an association of people who are desperate for power. Individuals who are discredited, individuals who have no hope in hell of moving this nation forward. The opposition has collapsed in Nigeria. There is no opposition because they don’t even know how to be in opposition. How can they keep the Government on its toes when they are busy bickering amongst themselves, fighting amongst themselves and they are fast asleep in bed snoring!”
He recalled how strong the All Progressives Congress (APC) was as an opposition party and how it defeated the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The fastest way for your family to succeed is for you to succeed, and after you succeed, you pull them up. This works in business. Think of the Ibru brothers, the Dantata family, and the Walton family that owns Walmart. It applies in entertainment. That was the secret of the Jackson family and the Wayans brothers, and now it's being practised by Wizkid and his son, Boluwatife, AKA Champz. As well as entertainment, with the Williams sisters in tennis, Michael and Mick Schumacher in Formula 1 racing, and LeBron and Bronny James in basketball. Success should be shared with family as much as possible and practicable; otherwise, it can shred your kindred. Being the only light in your family is too risky. The more your candle lights others in the family, the more you protect yourself and them from the absence of light that leads to blight in what should be bright!
