@5tuartreeves I am not even sure what this story is trying to do? Are they trying to make an argument for letting universities charge more from home students? Or an argument for limiting places offered to non-home students? Or a critique of how marketisation of education is detrimental?

up/down = lexical complexity up/not up = syntactic complexity up/unup = morphological complexity

When you talk about meaxuring language complexity you have to decide whether it is more complex to contrast up with down, or with not up. One is lexically complex the other is syntactically complex. The result is the same?
