@DavideHansen Tv2 bruker 750millioner kr på rettighetene til Eliteserien i fotball, skal visstnok ha brukt i underkant av 50millioner på sykkel tidligere (potensielt mindre nå som de knapt nok sender ritt). Make it make sense

@faustocoppi60 It’s also a big factor that you enter the climb with very high speed
English

According to Strava, Schmid, Plapp and Adam Yates did the Al Jissah climb (1,5 km@10% average) today in 3 minutes at 30 km/h and 3000 VAM. The magical 3. That must be close to lift-off lol. 🚀

@Tratnikstan From what I understand they turned the course around, but the downhill is ridiculously dangerous both ways
English

Didnt some dangerous descent happen in the same year last year too?

🇸🇦 AlUla Tour horror descent sparks safety alarm after brutal crash 🇳🇱 Fabio Jakobsen: “In a descent like that I avoid all risks. These speeds are insane. Honestly I think our bikes and thin tyres are not made for this.” 📰 domestiquecycling.com/en/news/alula-…

@GAambroz77 @laflammerouge16 I 100% agree with you
English

@MagnusKulset @laflammerouge16 Pro riders are idols to many, and they are the ones that are not setting the best example(including the hottest name in world cycling as we saw in a video few weeks ago)
English

Reminder: professional cyclists aren’t celebrities on demand. When they’re training or racing, they’re at work— please don’t interrupt or disturb them. Respect their focus and let them do their job.

Jonas Vingegaard crashed during training on Monday. Fortunately, he is okay and did not sustain any serious injuries. In general, as a team we would like to urge fans on bikes to always put safety first. For both your own and others’ wellbeing, please allow riders to train and give them as much space and peace as possible.
English

@GAambroz77 @laflammerouge16 Pros (and cyclists in general) definitely should be a lot more careful downhill and in traffic. Seeing them ride on red or cut blind corners makes me understand a bit of why some drivers hate cyclists
English

@MagnusKulset @laflammerouge16 Also how do you know that Jonas wasnt just thinking of beating this guy on downhill on roads he didn’t know so well? If thats the case that adds another layer of how Pros should be at least responsible to themselves if not to local traffic and people ;)
English

@GAambroz77 @laflammerouge16 I don’t blame the local dude at all, I just want everyone to be cautious when riding outside in traffic
English

@MagnusKulset @laflammerouge16 Yes but it’s his fault. I really feel bad for anyone who have an accident including Jonas. But you and (especially!) Visma cannot blame some local dude for following him.
English

@GAambroz77 @laflammerouge16 I’m not blaming Pedro, Jonas crashed on his own. I’m trying to explain what might have been going through Jonas’ head when going too fast downhill
English

@MagnusKulset @laflammerouge16 Did Jonas fall at cross road because he stoped and ‘Pedro’ didn’t? Stop looking fow effin excuses. Jonas fell on descent on his own, he was followed by local. Who wanted to help him but Jonas was arrogant af. He is the ‘bad guy’ not ‘Pedro’
English

@GAambroz77 @laflammerouge16 You can say it’s his nature to have people behind him. But who’s to blame if one stops at a STOP sign, and the person behind doesn’t…
English

@MagnusKulset @laflammerouge16 There are 180 riders on average riding behind Jonas not following the rules, with him included. So stop it. It’s not his private road, and if you are not following the traffic rules, there is also a big chance he is not. As we saw from videos of various riders this offseason
English

@GAambroz77 @laflammerouge16 Pretty disturbing when the rider behind you don’t follow the traffic rules…
English

@laflammerouge16 Riding behind them is not disturbing them. Jonas pushing the limit is not Pedros fault. Jonas fall is nit Pedros fault. Being arrogant to someone who wants to help you after your fault is your stupidity and bad image, despite Visma PR.. stop this bullshit
English

@jonas_creteur As long as he fuels well, enjoys it, and do it at rare occasions, it shouldn’t be any issue
English

@alain7 @char_broughton Yeah, Radio Tower is the fastest route, I have done it twice before, so felt like it would be fun to try something new
English

@MagnusKulset @char_broughton Sorry, accidental delete. That’s extremely impressive. Looks like Radio Tower is the route of choice but I get why Magnus chose AdZ.
English

Tomorrow I’ll be doing my third virtual everesting on @GoZwift
Will it be painful? Probably
Will it be fun? Hopefully
Will I use a different climb then previous times? Yes

Norsk

We are deeply disappointed to share that Tour of Norway will not be held in 2026.
