@LukeBarnett 🤣 I had an actress stick us with a huge bill for a 2-day Airbnb stay because she left and forgot her dog in the suite and it was there for a week. And I swear I saw her feeding it tendies on set. I wonder if it was the same one?

We once cast an actress who told us she had a place in LA but needed to stay at the Standard because her house was unavailable. Three days later we got her room service bill and she had ordered $150 in chicken tenders for her dogs because she forgot their food.

In 2018 we had a producer attached to a script who pitched Brendan Fraser. “Movie star who hasn’t been in the spotlight and might wanna do a smaller character piece”. The other producers said no. We saw how that turned out… So I ask you, who is the Brendan Fraser of 2018 today?

The advice to not use camera angles in your screenwriting is solid. But not because you shouldn’t direct on the page. It's because camera angles are technical, clunky, unemotional, and uninteresting to read. And there are much better ways to direct on that page than that.
