@Mmajor7th @Overourwall The Alarm were another of my favourites, first saw them at the Tiffany's gig...if I remember correctly, they came back on for the encore but didn't have another song to play, pretty sure they played Marching On again !

@Magsbryce1874 @Overourwall It was the Tiffany's gig in late 81 was the first I saw them too. The October tour. Also, the same venue for the War tour and the Alarm were the support. There's something special about those smaller venue gigs that the stadium gigs can't capture.

@Mmajor7th @Overourwall I saw U2 for the first time, when I was about 18 in Tiffany's, Glasgow around 1981 saw them in Dublin, Milan and Portugal over the years too. Bono's solo thing was fabulous.The Police were another of my favourite bands, saw them at Gateshead Stadium in 1982.. the good old days!

@Overourwall I loved that I've seen them live more than any other band, well into the teens now since 1981. Even Bono's solo thing a few years ago was a great musical experience. A bit like The Police/Sting for me, I'll continue to like what I like despite the general consensus.
