Can't track it? Yet the Canadian government was able to seize the bank accounts of Canadian citizens involved with or donating to the trucker convoy. This is a load of bullshit.

The fact that Alberta has to negotiate with Ottawa to develop its economy tells you exactly why Canada is broken.

Chancellor Merz is leading Europe into a great war with Russia, supported the genocide in Gaza, and argued that Israel is "doing the dirty work for us" in Iran. Merz is also strangling freedom of speech and democracy in Germany, while aiming to build the largest army in Europe.

Mark Carney is desperate to raid Canadian pension funds. First, he leans on them to backstop his $25 B “Canada Strong” debt fund and massage the numbers. Now he’s pushing the“invest in Canada” narrative Problem is...he'll invest in his Net Zero scams that have already burned billions. Pensions are for retirees, not Carney’s pet projects. Hands off 😡

As a lawyer with 30 years of experience working on regulatory approvals, both for and against projects of all sizes, I do not see the government’s announced steps changing outcomes unless the unachievable requirements in Bill C-69 are repealed. That is the practical advice companies will be receiving from their lawyers.

WOW Yesterday CTV and CBC ran wall to wall coverage claiming Russia and the US were interfering in the Alberta separatist movement. Today the Globe and Mail reported: The RCMP deputy commissioner told Alberta’s Public Safety Minister there is NO credible evidence of foreign interference in the Alberta separatist movement. ZERO. None The RCMP’s own words. The study CTV and CBC cited? Produced by “DisinfoWatch” and “academic researchers.” Not CSIS. Not the RCMP Not any law enforcement agency This is the same CTV that called my verified content “Deception Decoded.” The same CTV taking millions in government subsidies A study nobody can verify Cited as fact, to discredit 301,000 Albertans who signed a petition. This is why people lose trust in MSM. CTV & CBC are cut from the same cloth.

Whoa. Department of Justice officials just confirmed the Liberals' "safety valve" would let judges ignore mandatory minimum sentences if they would jeopardize a criminal's immigration status.

The pipeline debate is missing the bigger problem. As Cenovus’ CEO said today, Canada’s oilsands dialogue has been “myopically focused on the climate agenda,” making resource development and investment uncompetitive with the rest of the world. That is exactly the issue. It does not matter if a new Alberta-to-Pacific pipeline is approved if oil companies cannot take the risk of increasing production to fill it. Carbon taxes, Net Zero mandates, emissions caps, and forced CCS do not create market value. Buyers want reliable supply at a fair price, not a Net Zero premium. Carney’s climate obsession risks turning the world’s third-largest oil reserves into a stranded asset and impoverishing Alberta.

People haven’t lost trust in “science,” they’ve lost trust in a self-selected self-perpetuating academic priest class who rely on constant alarmism or revisionism to secure funding and who look upon dissent as heretical to an extent that would make the medieval church blush.
Simon Maechling@simonmaechling

The collapse of trust in science is going to go down in history as one of the most sad, bizarre, and destructive social contagions of modern times. We fed billions, cured diseases and powered nations - yet people ran toward conspiracies instead.

When private citizens are punished more severely for speaking than public officials are punished for stealing, the system is no longer protecting accountability, it is protecting power. A healthy society cannot survive when truth is feared more than corruption. The law should restrain abuse of power, not silence those who question it.

BREAKING: According to our analysis, ~$920 million worth of crude oil shorts were taken 70 minutes before an Axios report claimed the US and Iran were near a "14-point" deal to end the war. At 3:40 AM ET today, nearly 10,000 contracts worth of crude oil shorts were taken without any major news. This is equivalent to ~$920 million in notional value, an unusually large trade for 3:40 AM ET. At 4:50 AM ET, just 70 minutes later, Axios reported that the US is "close" to a "memorandum of understanding" to end the Iran War. By 7:00 AM ET, oil prices had fallen over -12% with these crude oil shorts gaining approximately +$125 million. Minutes later, Iran launched the "Persian Gulf Strait Authority" and oil prices surged +8%. What just happened?

The Prime Minister appears to be moving Canada toward closer alignment with the European Union, raising important questions about national sovereignty and democratic accountability. Canada is an independent country with its own Constitution, including the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, which protects the fundamental liberties of Canadians. Any move toward deeper political or legal integration with a supranational body like the EU could shift decision-making authority away from Canadian institutions and toward external bodies that are not directly accountable to Canadian voters. torontosun.com/opinion/column…

Let's be honest, a new Alberta-to-Pacific pipeline will not happen because politicians wish it into existence. Carney's ideological Net Zero mandates, carbon taxes, and forced reliance on Pathways CCS make new oil production too expensive and risky. No new production means no firm shipping commitments. No commitments means no pipeline. It is time to stop indulging Carney’s Net Zero fantasies and have an clear-eyed adult conversation about reality. An independent Alberta will not need to play these costly games.
