I got off a call with the Diablo 4 developers about the future of the game. I'm now aware of major upcoming changes and can't say anything. Anyways, the future looks promising!

@Method Was meh, dungeons were worthless outside of transmog for challenge mode. Lfr era was in full swing as well and it was beginning of transition of wow from being an MMO to becoming an ARPG

@BaronnKlatz @warhammer I mean I'm not buying any books any time soon, I'll just wait for them to pop up online. I would if they didn't change how app locks warscrolls and if they added digital books back. But I have zero plans to buy any books aside from the ghb going forward.

@Mah_Ballz @warhammer I get the grief but as a lore simp and guy who buys entire book collections even for armies I don’t play I know it’s the only way to keep lore & art blood flowing because even efforts by people like me can’t match a 1/20th of competitive players buying those books as disposables.

@BaronnKlatz @warhammer If only there was some kind of + subscription service they had where you got the rules? Let's be honest people all still pirate now, so removing some sales just means less sales, and at least before you had the option to actually get pure digital.

@Mah_Ballz @warhammer Of course you wouldn’t because that’s more consumer friendly which means less money for them. :p To say nothing of when they Did try it back in AoS2 people were just pirating the digital rules/tomes all over the place which is why they did a hard switch to physical.

@BaronnKlatz @warhammer If they did digital only, I'd not complain. Anything is better than the crap shoot this release will be.

@Mah_Ballz @warhammer Haha, $50+ hobby & art guides aren’t gonna sell. They already saw that back in AoS1 when they tried that and only got movement when they started putting exclusive rules in the tomes. Monkey’s paw they’ll just make $60 digital unlock keys that still need hot fixes anyway.
