A Sunlit Afternoon Whisper "A book, too, can be a star a living fire to lighten the darkness, leading us out into the expanding universe." Madeleine L’Engle On this bright afternoon, with sunlight dancing across the pages and the gentle hum of the day all around, I find myself wrapped in stories that feel like warm embraces from old friends. Each word glows softly, painting the heart with quiet wonder, courage, and endless possibility. For every daughter beneath this vast, golden sky, may your days be filled with such radiant light. Let the pages lift you gently, carrying your dreams higher, softer, and freer. 🤍 What beautiful passage from a book has warmed your heart lately? Share it below let’s fill this afternoon with more light together. #Education #Books

Assalamualaikum 🤍 Dairy of the day 07/06/2026 Sunday Night Diary – Karachi The day is ending. City lights glow outside my window as I sit with my read of the day, feeling a mix of tiredness and deep peace. Tonight I am reading Man’s Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl. One line stayed with me deeply: “When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.” Today was slow and beautiful. I prayed, studied for my paper, took an evening walk, and spoke with a few girls who reached out about their studies and worries. Nothing dramatic, yet the day felt meaningful. Looking back at this week, I realise how much Allah has changed my heart. The girl who once felt lost and scared is now here building a routine, chasing her Master’s, and slowly turning her past into purpose. There are still heavy moments, but tonight I remember the words of our Prophet ﷺ: “Tie your camel first, then trust in Allah.” This reminds me that healing is not loud or instant. It is quiet Fajr prayers, late-night reflections, consistent effort, and complete trust in Allah’s plan. Alhamdulillah for safety, for books that comfort me, and for the strength to keep moving forward. May the coming week bring us all closer to our dreams and closer to Allah. What was the most peaceful moment of your Sunday? #BalochDaughters #SundayDiary

@Mah_GulRind I always tried to connect with this line, but every time I end up recalling the echoing dialogues from Om Shanti Om. Maybe if I hadn’t watched the movie before reading this, I would have related to it more. 😂😬

Assalamualaikum 🤍 University Library – Karachi This afternoon, while sitting in the university library, I am reading The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. This line stayed with me: “The secret of life is to fall seven times and to get up eight times.” As I read it, my thoughts suddenly turned to Nargis from Balicha in Kech a simple Baloch woman, a wife and daughter, going about her daily life. On Wednesday evening, armed men abducted her at gunpoint in broad daylight. Her husband and nephew bravely tried to follow and rescue her, but it was a frightening ordeal. Alhamdulillah, security forces launched a quick operation and she was safely recovered. Even though she is back with her family now, my heart still feels heavy thinking about the fear she must have gone through. We Baloch daughters only want to live peacefully, study, and build better lives for our families. Incidents like this remind us how fragile safety can feel. But just like the book teaches, no matter how many times fear tries to knock us down, we must rise again with faith and courage. I pray for Nargis’s complete peace and healing. May Allah protect every Baloch daughter and grant safety to all our sisters. 🤲 To every girl reading this: Keep studying. Keep rising. Our strength lies in education, resilience, and trust in Allah. What helps you rise again during difficult times? Share below 👇 #GirlsEducation #Balochistan

My heart is heavy tonight after hearing the horrific news from Quetta. Dr. Mah Noor, a female doctor serving at the Provincial Civil Hospital, was brutally attacked with acid inside the hospital premises. She has suffered severe burns and is now being treated in Karachi. This incident is deeply shocking and painful. A woman who dedicates her life to healing others should never have to face such violence especially in a place meant for care and safety. Alhamdulillah, Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti has taken swift action by arranging her immediate transfer to Karachi for advanced treatment. We pray for Dr. Mah Noor’s complete recovery and strength. May Allah grant her sabr and shifa. 🤲 Such attacks on women, especially those working in the medical field, remind us how important it is to ensure safety and security for our daughters who are serving society. We stand with Dr. Mah Noor and demand justice and better protection for all women working in hospitals and public spaces. May Allah protect every woman striving to build a better Balochistan. #JusticeForDrMahNoor #WomenSafety

Diary of the day 06/06/2026 As the sun sets and the weekend evening settles in, I’m sitting with my journal after a full day. Here i am reading The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. This book beautifully teaches that every difficulty we face is part of our personal journey toward our dreams if we keep faith and keep moving forward. The story made me think of strong women like Maria Shamoon, one of the first Christian women to become Assistant Commissioner in Balochistan. Even after facing serious challenges, she showed incredible courage and returned to serving her people with even greater dedication and love. Her resilience reminds me that every Baloch daughter has her own “Personal Legend” one of strength, purpose, and hope. Sister Maria, your quiet determination inspires so many of us. May Allah bless you with continued strength and protect all women who serve with sincerity. 🤲 To every girl reading this tonight: Keep trusting Allah’s plan. Your dreams and efforts are never wasted. Keep shining, keep growing. What book or story has been giving you strength lately? Share below 👇 I’d love to know. #BalochDaughters #WomenOfStrength #Inspiration #HopeAndFaith

@muizelahi Everyone has their own personal taste and choices when it comes to books I fully respect yours. For me, The Alchemist’s message about following your dreams and the universe conspiring to help has always been inspiring. Different perspectives make conversations interesting.

@Mah_GulRind I don’t know about others but the Alchemist felt too much filmy and overrated to me. Sorry if it hurts someone!

🌙 Sitting on the rooftop tonight, book in my lap, Sibi still in my heart. I was reading when this line made me pause for a long time: “A single spark of knowledge can illuminate what darkness has covered for a thousand years.” This reminded me of the old stories my Dadi used to tell us how our Baloch ancestors protected knowledge like sacred fire, even in the hardest times. How one educated daughter could bring light to an entire village. In the book "The Ink of the Scholar" (inspired by the famous Hadith), it beautifully shows that the pen and knowledge are far more powerful than any sword or bullet. That’s why I believe with all my heart: Books over bullets. One girl reading under the lamp today can change the future of Balochistan tomorrow. #BalochDaughters #BooksOverBullets #Balochistan

@parrysingh Tech leaders like Nadella showing love for Ghalib and Faiz is inspiring. We need both code and culture to stay truly human in the AI age.

Satya Nadella just revealed that he's a fan of Urdu poetry - particularly Ghalib and Faiz. I found it surprising and reassuring. I've long believed that technologists have a responsibility to understand the world beyond bits and bytes. Poetry, arts, culture, history - are important lenses through which we make sense of the world around us. This responsibility has only deepened as AI raises fundamental questions about creativity, productivity, and employment. While we go deep into tech stacks and harnesses, let's also not forget a visit to the museum or the latest work of fiction. I've learnt as much by experimenting with the latest LLMs and tools as I have from works of authors like Kazuo Ishiguro. By the way, his last book, Klara and the Sun, was a beautiful treatise on what it means to be human in the age of AI. Thank you, Satya Nadella, for the reminder.
