@ZeM6108 That's not to say the vfx isn't good tho...it's very good but I felt it wasn't immersive enough bcuz you could see the visual effects in a lot of the scenes....I felt this most apparently in the first scenes where it just doesn't feel as "real" so to say as in baahubali or rrr

When you promote a film with claims of a 4000cr budget, touted as VFX-CGI are tougher than Dune or Interstellar, expectations skyrocket. While the production design is undeniably majestic, the VFX and CGI don’t quite hit the level you anticipate from a project of this scale.

actually it’s pretty clear right here. look at both set of scenes in the images. the scene with yash and the pushpaka vimanam look so epic, grand and filled with insane detail… as it should because it’s crazy fantastical imagery. meanwhile the shot with ranbir with the people, the bow & arrow and the palace behind look so fake because this is something that they could’ve definitely achieved with proper sets and art design and natural lights but here it just looks so fake. and before people come at me, no that’s not a Ranbir problem, it’s just the problem of over relying on shooting inside a closed studio. basically my point is the same as rajamouli’s or any of the greats, try to shoot as much as possible with practical sets, locations, costumes and then go to VFX for only what is really needed or not achievable practically.
