Maguire, Jonny Evans, and Scott McTominay were brilliant for #MUFC today. These three players, who at the start of the season no one wanted to see in the starting XI, arguably secured the most important three points of the entire season. I say this because I believe that this win could may inject some much-needed positivity, confidence, and belief into the squad as they head into the international break which could mark a turn around in the season. One of our biggest issues this season has been player mentality, we seem to look flat and lose belief every time we concede even after starting the game well. Didn't play amazing, but we got the 3 points, which is all that matters at the moment.

I feel like whenever #MUFC is in bad form is that there is often one player accused of being the problem, and fans believe that replacing them will solve all our issues. This week, it's Onana; last week, it was Rashford; the week before, Bruno, and in August, apparently, it was Mount. Last season, it was De Gea and Ronaldo. The season before that, it was Maguire and McFred. While many of these named players were not good enough or the right fit for the team moving forward, we've seen time and time again that the problems run deeper than a quick fix. It's tempting to think that simply dropping or replacing one player will make all the difference, but it's much more complex than that. Under Ole, I believed that if we got rid of Maguire/McFred, we would become a strong team again. However, these three players no longer play, and we are still struggling. While Maguire and McFred needed to be dropped and were not at #mufc level, it highlighted that you can't single out one or two players as the sole problem when the team needs a major overhaul, as Ralf Rangnick once said “open heart surgery”. I think DDG and Ronaldo needed to move on, as they were holding us back in terms of our style of play. But even with DDG and CR7 gone, we are still playing poorly. Rashford, Bruno, and Onana are currently receiving blame, but I guarantee that if we stopped playing them, we would still perform poorly and likely score less. (Now, I actually believe that on current form, I would bench Rashford for Garnacho, but what I am saying is that one change won't suddenly make us play good football). We still don't have a left-back, Lindelof is struggling in physical battles, midfielders are losing their man, and defenders are not marking properly. Ten Hag's tactics of long balls over the top is not helping us gain any control, and our squad lacks athleticism (other teams are fitter than us). And, of course, the biggest problem lies with those at the top of the club. My point is that Ralf Rangnick was right about this club. It's not about simply dropping Onana or Rashford or whoever the scapegoat player is at the time and the season will be saved. There are about 30 different problems that need to be addressed, in addition to benching out-of-form players. That's why I dislike it when one player becomes the scapegoat when at least 10 have been performing poorly.

As Fergie pointed out many times, he could never have been successful without Cathy. It was love at first sight the first time he met her at Remington shaving factory. Upon returning home after a win, Fergie was greeted by Cathy telling him "the washing machine was broke". She allowed no trophies on display at her home and retained her working class Glasgow humility until the end, a beautiful soul who Utd fans owe so much too. Deepest condolences to SAF and his family.

As a 30+ man you’ve gone past the phase of sleeping around. Leave that for 20+ men. Your space, body and time are more valuable now and shouldn’t be shared with just anyone. Growing wealth, preserving your health and building relationships is key. Jumping around may ruin things
