Video from the Austrian pavilion at the Venice Biennale: Artist Florentina Holzinger hangs upside down inside a giant bronze bell. She swings back and forth and literally “rings” the bell with her own body. This is part of a large-scale installation about the climate apocalypse. The bell with a person inside symbolizes a warning about the coming flood. The Biennale officially opens on May 9, 2026, but the performance has already begun.

However, the heart is a different story. An individual can be doing the “right” thing with the wrong heart, and will still be judged before a Holy God.

I am challenging any death penalty opponent — there are millions of them, allegedly — to step up to the plate right now and explain why this guy should not be executed. His guilt is established beyond any doubt whatsoever. His crime is utterly savage and heinous. Tell us why he doesn’t deserve to die. Go ahead.

@plane_pats You realize that adultery remains a crime in 16 states (roughly 1/3 of the country) and in three of those states it’s actually a felony? Arizona is one of those 16 states. (Where the photos blowing this story open originated) . Is it murder? No. More in the realm of DUI.

I’m not anti execution. I’m pro death penalty. However, the standard of forgiveness is still the standard. Vengeance belongs to the Lord.
