personally believe aligning yourself with the hyperliquid ecosystem is the most +EV thing you can do heading into the next cycle. not only because it is likely to outperform everything but because the cultural layer has barely began i remember trading nfts on ethereum during COVID and feeling like i was too late. i missed punks, artblocks and the entire thing was chaos and i was frantically trying to catch up then the first nfts got minted on solana - solpunks, frakt etc. i remember thinking that the user experience was significantly better than that of ETH, but also feeling that i was early for once. i was curious before others and that was my edge i went all-in on the solana ecosystem and built my audience around what was a niche understanding at the time: that solana was going to be something. as the cultural layer got built from the ground up, i was a part of it and it is basically what i have to thank for not needing to work now. obviously there was a lot more i needed to get right, but being in the right place makes the right time much easier i feel the same way about hyperliquid now. the tech is great and there is a general interest in what is happening, but the cultural layer is still mostly non-existent. as hyperliquid transitions from a DEX to a fully functioning L1, there will be many opportunities to those wishing to contribute no doubt there will also be extraction campaigns that will come, but as the ecosystem matures the real ones tend to rise to the top. my twitter handle used to be 'earlyish adopter', i named myself that because i wasn't great at being early, but i would usually be early-ish and that can be enough to make it in crypto i look forward to contributing where i can as the birth of a new ecosystem arrives. it will take its own shape and form, moulded by those most passionate and should not be a copy/paste of others hyperliquid

@haywire_3 all ETFs. VWRL (low div high growth) / VHYL (global high div + mid growth) / IDVY (yield-sleeve, also something of an EU bet) are my dividend funds. then i hold small % emerging asia etf and copper mining etf. then btc / hype nice n simply stuff. feels comfy for now

@jords I find it interesting that I used to know you in this space as a guy who was just fully invested into crypto and now became someone who stabilized his finances with stocks and bonds. If you traveled back in time, would you still execute your plan as you did over the years?

some general bear market thoughts focus on accumulating the unit values of the things you like, don't focus on the price. you should aim to own X number of whatever tokens you both believe in and can handle going down a large percent don't overtrade, trying to trade ranges and time markets while everything is effectively cheap is a waste of time and you'll look back and regret it tune out and touch grass, crypto can be great reward on time spent but now is not the time to be locked into tg chats and staring at minute charts; accumulate, recharge and wait til it's easy again believe in something, all that time you spent dreaming of being to buy coins cheap, understand that you now have that and the tech hasn't changed, this is when you can actually win again. i much prefer CT and crypto in general when money isn't easy to find, enjoy the needed cleanse delete your previous ATH from your brain, what could have been wasn't and you are wasting brain space wondering what might have happened. mentally note down what you did wrong and learn instead of beating yourself up look after yourself and your homies, a bull market and the period shortly after can be absolutely horrendous for your mental health. try and forgive yourself for the wrong decisions and be grateful for the knowledge you gained. don't be sorry, be better 🩵
