I talked to a vibe coder today. He tried Claude code with opus 4.7 He was so excited that he is finally building He is vibe coding for 14 hours straight. He wasn’t even aware he forgot to switch from 4.6 to 4.7 When he finally switched he didn’t see any difference. Boy this major update is so incremental

gpt-5.5 (?) pro creates an 8x8 chess set in minecraft! I am unsure if this truly is 5.5 pro, but this result is absolutely magnificent. Each piece look like a real chess sculpture.

Some people say that GPT-5.5 is already rolling out for them, it’s being stealth tested. Initial testing from them say it outperforms Opus4.7 for them (don’t know in which tasks tho). Hopefully it’s not being released on Monday since I’ll be on a 13hour flight to china and would miss the release

@bcherny I'm a paid Claude Pro/Max subscriber and keep getting frequent rate limiting / throttling even when my usage dashboard shows I'm well under my weekly/session limits. This is severely disrupting my workflow. Please investigate and resolve this issue immediately.

@JonhernandezIA Couldn’t agree more. AI lowers technical hurdles, but building a meaningful business still boils down to creativity and capturing genuine human attention—this hits the nail on the head.

📁 Sam Altman says that even though building software is now dramatically easier, building a real business is still just as hard. AI removes technical barriers, but it does not solve the scarcest resource, human attention. Even in a world of radical abundance, distribution and focus remain the bottleneck. The edge will not be speed, but creativity and building things that truly matter.

@MarcJSchmidt I empathize with you. Claude is indeed a ‌fabricator of lies‌, not a problem-solver, but a ‌bug creator‌.

It literally broke other code/features and claimed these were "pre-existing issues" and thus needed no tests, hence it just removed the tests and put TODO comments in the code to fix it. The resulting "fixes" were also almost always workarounds, completely trashing code quality

I've started using Claude Code since Opus 4.5 came out. I was blown away, and immediately used it non-stop for hardcore coding, 14h/day, I was addicted, always hitting limits, so bought two $200/month accounts. Today I cancelled both accounts and switched to Codex 5.2. Why?
