Not really. Even able-bodied people don’t have access to these public transport services. My mom, who is going to be 65 next year, called me last week to book a ticket on the RTL ferry, since the only option is to buy tickets through an app. I had to install the RTL app, register, and go through all that just to get a ticket for her.

My 15 year old nephew was also kicked out of the bus, when he got on to go to tuition. He missed tuition that day. Who takes responsibility and accountability for these injustices? Some people who work on the buses are super rude and inconsiderate.

My uncle who is physically disabled and who used to travel on @MTCCPlc run buses all these days was today kicked out of the bus and asked to pay and as he doesn’t carry his cashcard with him for safety he couldn’t even pay. He is physically challenged. Shame on you! Apologize now

The attitude of RTL bus conductors are extremely rude towards disabled people lately, They shut the door on me while I was getting off the bus month.

When someone said something offending blind people you all came out. Today my disabled uncle was kicked out from an @MTCCPlc bus and was reprimanded & asked to pay even though he is physically disabled. Kobaitha minister Aishath Shiham! Elitists hogging our tax money shamelessly!
