@The_Real_Roy82 @DunstableTownFC No mate. Working but wouldn't waste my time even if I wasn't. It's a done deal. Lack of supporter engagement is embarrassing. "Come and have a chat after we've arranged everything" but maybe choose the colour of our new kit as some sort of carrot.

@razvanmarcu23 Yeah, fully get where you’re coming from (and as I say, I’ve had a fractured cheekbone off the back of a save like this, so I’m a fully paid up member of the GK Union) 😂 I guess it’s just from years of being told it’s a fair challenge from refs, etc 🤷‍♂️

@MainStreetMatt Fair point, I see where you’re coming from. Just think it’s a different kind of 50/50 when a keeper’s head is involved, but maybe I'm being subjective.

Ended up in A&E this weekend with 4 open wounds to the face after this challenge… and it was only a yellow. Do we actually talk enough about player safety?

@razvanmarcu23 I see it the same as two players going in for a 50/50. Players can either go into the tackle fully or they back out Don’t get me wrong, if they’ve got in studs up(like your number 8 suggests) then that’s different, but other than that the ball’s there to be won for me

@MainStreetMatt Don’t mind players competing — that’s part of the game — but I just don’t see how you can be “entitled” to go for a ball when doing so endangers someone. 🤷🏻‍♂️

@MainStreetMatt @razvanmarcu23 These are coward’s actions. Most strikers I’ve come across that go in like this are cowards. They know chances of getting the ball are next to nothing but it’s an opportunity to leave one on the keeper so they do it.
